SANDchain testnet wraps up Phase 1
SANDchain has marked the conclusion of Phase 1 of its testnet, achieved in just 120 days. The project reported impressive metrics, including 6.9 million transactions and the creation of 310,000 accounts. Additionally, 203,000 users signed its Manifesto, which promotes the platform as an “engine of the economy” for creators.
The testnet saw substantial organic growth, with a total of 948,000 quests completed and 2,600 builder projects registered in the Builder Hub, reflecting user interest in development opportunities within the ecosystem. The project established 35 partnerships, with notable collaborations including The Sandbox and Animoca Brands.
SANDchain also reported significant community engagement during the test period, gaining 285,000 new followers on X, 60,000 Telegram members, and 37,000 Discord members. However, the company noted that the commitment of participants remains to be fully gauged, as many may be motivated by potential future rewards.
Looking ahead, SANDchain is gearing up for Phase 2, which will integrate AI technology from sister company Animoca Minds. “If Phase 1 proved that identity, loyalty, and engagement loops can work on-chain, the next phase is about making these systems more dynamic, scalable, and intelligent,” the company stated.
The focus will shift to enhancing creator engagement, aiming for smoother interactions, rewards, and continuous on-chain experiences.
