Might & Magic Fates has officially launched the Path of Legends update, introducing Season 2 on May 5. This update brings a fresh set of features and gameplay adjustments designed to enhance player engagement.

Season 2 replaces Season 1, allowing players to claim their Season 1 rewards. It introduces Legend Set cards, expanding the deck-building options for players. A new Codex feature now tracks all cards, including those not owned, offering a comprehensive overview of the game’s offerings.

Customization options and keyword changes

Alongside the new cards, players can now access enhanced customization options for their boards, portraits, and card backs. A new keyword, Slay, has been implemented, providing a trigger effect that activates when a character destroys an opponent’s creature.

Balance adjustments impact gameplay

Several cards have undergone balance changes to improve overall gameplay. Notable adjustments include a reduction in health for Rakshaja Raja and Breeder Progenitor from 5 to 4, and a decrease in cost for Healing Sister and Eleonore. Additionally, the Agrael Estate Gold value has increased from 1 to 2, and the Glyph-Carved Golem’s Deploy effect now only counts spell cards from different schools in the Graveyard.

Rank structure and inactivity penalties

The ranking system has been refined as well. Once a player reaches a new rank, it cannot be lost. However, top Celestial players will gradually lose ranked points if they remain inactive. The progression structure from Gold to Diamond now includes additional divisions, providing a clearer pathway for player advancement.
