What is Ryoshi Royale?
Ryoshi Royale is an NFT battle arena built on the Cronos blockchain, accessible directly through a web browser. The game combines competitive PvP gameplay with blockchain-based NFT ownership, allowing players to import their Ryoshi NFTs as playable heroes. Designed for cryptocurrency enthusiasts and NFT collectors, it offers a strategy-focused combat experience where digital asset ownership directly enhances competitive play.
How to play Ryoshi Royale
Players begin by importing their Ryoshi NFTs, which function as unique heroes within the arena. The gameplay revolves around daily and weekly competitive battles against other players. The strategic fighting format requires tactical decision-making during matches, emphasizing skill and planning rather than purely pay-to-win mechanics. Matches are available on a regular schedule, allowing both casual and committed players to participate in ongoing competition.
Ryoshi Royale rewards and earning
Victorious players earn CRO, the native token of the Cronos blockchain, through successful battle participation. The reward structure incentivizes regular play and competitive success, with daily and weekly tournament opportunities providing multiple earning pathways. This creates an economic model where active gameplay directly translates to token accumulation.

Our verdict on Ryoshi Royale
Ryoshi Royale is less a standalone game than a utility layer bolted onto an existing NFT collection. It runs in the browser on Cronos, and its heroes are Ryoshi NFTs you already hold and import — which makes the collection itself the entry ticket rather than a download or a sign-up. Progression comes from equipping and training those heroes, with daily and weekly battles resolved by simulation and settled in CRO.
What works is the framing. Turning a static profile-picture collection into something with a schedule, a ladder and a reason to log in is a sensible answer to the question of what an NFT is actually for, and the equip-and-train loop gives holders decisions to make between rounds.
What does not work is the same thing viewed as a game. Because outcomes are computed rather than played, there is little moment-to-moment skill expression — you are setting up a build and reading results. The reward pool and the CRO paid out are only as durable as a small, community-run project's funding, and there is no meaningful on-ramp for anyone outside the holder base.
It is for Ryoshi holders and Cronos regulars. Players arriving for the combat should look elsewhere.
