What is Ryoshi Royale?
Ryoshi Royale is a browser game on the Cronos blockchain that turns the Ryoshi With Knife NFT collection into playable heroes. You connect a wallet, import your Ryoshi and use them as fighters across several modes. There is no download: the game runs on ryoshiroyale.com, and sign-in uses a wallet on Cronos. Ryoshi NFTs are sold on the Ebisu's Bay marketplace, and some partner collections are also supported.
How to play Ryoshi Royale
The main events are Daily and Weekly Battle Royales, also called Rumbles. Heroes enter, and the battle plays out on its own while you watch. The strategy lies in how you equip and train your heroes beforehand, since equipment and training add to a hero's power. Clan Battles are open to supported partner collections, and Entourage Wars add a longer team mode. Rumbles also raise a hero's Honor Rank, which unlocks new locations in the PvE game.
PvE starts at Jade Crown Village. Here you fight enemies in turn-based combat with four actions: Attack, Dodge, Rest and Defend. You only get a set number of Rests and Dodges per fight, and each enemy has its own battle personality, so spamming attack does not always work. Locations range from Easy to Boss. Amber Steppes lets you mine resources and turn them into crafted gear, and Mosstone Sanctuary hosts live Duels against other players.
Ryoshi Royale rewards and earning
Winners of Daily and Weekly Battle Royales share a prize pool paid in CRO, the native token of Cronos. In PvE you pay an entry fee to fight, win it back and more when you defeat an enemy, and lose it if you are beaten. Wins can also drop loot chests that pay $RYOSHI, which you claim on the Hall page under the Claim tab. Harder locations have stronger enemies and greater rewards.
Who it is for
Daily and Weekly battles require a real Ryoshi or an explicitly supported partner NFT, so the game is built for people who already hold one or are willing to buy one. Rewards depend on CRO and $RYOSHI prices.

What works is that it has grown past a single arena. It is for Ryoshi holders and Cronos regulars who want more to do with their NFTs. Players with no interest in buying one should look elsewhere.
