METASPACE
What is METASPACE?
METASPACE is a 3-D blockchain metaverse and Web3 role-playing game built on the Polygon network, currently in beta on Android and iOS. It is a sci-fi title set across uncharted galaxies, in which characters, weapons and ships exist as tradable NFTs held in the player's own wallet rather than locked to a publisher account. The studio behind the game holds a business license from RAK Digital Assets Oasis (RAK DAO) in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, registered as a gaming studio and metaverse service provider.
How to play METASPACE
METASPACE combines a story mode with combat missions and competitive play. Players explore and complete quests on planets such as BARR3N X-11, Cry O-Hail, KT 88 and Traders Belt, survive PvE encounters, and fight in public arenas or in private arenas where they can challenge a specific opponent directly. Under the hood, real-time multiplayer runs on Photon, wallet connection is handled through Web3Auth, Nethereum manages Polygon smart-contract interactions, and Firebase stores progress and inventory. The beta is free to play, so no NFT purchase is required to begin, and the game also hosts virtual events inside its seasonal maps.
METASPACE tokenomics & earning
The project uses two tokens: $LORD, which players earn through play, and $MLD, which is purchased. Earned and purchased assets — characters, weapons and ships — can be listed, sold and traded on the game's decentralized marketplace, and staking is offered for passive rewards. As with any token-based game economy, the value of these assets depends on market demand and is not guaranteed.
Is METASPACE worth playing?
METASPACE is still in beta, so content, balance and economic parameters may change before a full release. It suits players who want a mobile sci-fi RPG with on-chain asset ownership and are comfortable with an unfinished build; players looking for a completed, stable game may prefer to check back after launch. Because entry is free, trying the beta costs nothing but time.

Our verdict on METASPACE
METASPACE is a mobile-first sci-fi RPG that wraps a fairly conventional quest-and-arena loop in on-chain ownership. It runs on Polygon, and the characters, weapons and ships you accumulate are NFTs held in your own wallet rather than entries on a publisher's account server. The Android and iOS beta pairs a story mode with PvE missions across planet maps — BARR3N X-11, Cry O-Hail, KT 88, Traders Belt — plus public arenas and private arenas where you can call out a specific opponent.
The entry design is the strongest part. The beta is free and requires no NFT purchase to start, and wallet creation is handled through Web3Auth, which removes the seed-phrase step that stops most newcomers cold. The studio also operates under a RAK DAO business licence in the UAE, a level of registration many projects in this category skip.
The reservations are structural. It is beta software, so content, combat balance and the parameters of the two-token economy — $LORD earned in play, $MLD bought — can all change before launch, and the resale value of anything you earn depends entirely on demand for those tokens. Real-time multiplayer on mobile is also unforgiving of thin player counts.
Worth a look if you want on-chain asset ownership in a portable shooter-RPG and can tolerate an unfinished build. If you want a stable, feature-complete game, wait for release.
