In Brief:
- Idle Fantasy launched an H5 build that’s playable in a browser with no waitlist and no pre-registration.
- The 5v5 idle RPG sits on ONEchain, the network NEXUS renamed from CROSS after buying an 89.03% stake in Korean app marketplace ONE Store for roughly 62.6 billion won.
- Its token, CEC, can only be minted by holders who have both battle pass reward items and resources earned in-game, and spent tokens are burned outright.
Idle Fantasy is live on H5, the game’s account said in a post, playable in a browser with nothing gating entry.
“Build your squad, clear dungeons, and keep progressing while offline,” the studio wrote, pointing players to a URL hosted on idlegog.com.

The domain isn’t incidental. The game’s site pitches it as “the on-chain evolution of IdleGog,” built around squad assembly and idle progression.
NEXUS first onboarded the title on June 8, when the chain was still called CROSS. It’s a 5v5 idle RPG pairing team composition with automated combat, and resource collection and character growth continue while the player is away. Arenas and guild battles handle the competitive side.
How CEC gets made
The token design is the part NEXUS has pushed hardest. CEC, the game’s core token, can only be minted by users holding both battle pass reward items and resources earned through play. Buying alone won’t produce it. Playing alone won’t either.
Issued tokens convert into an in-game exclusive currency used to buy items. Tokens spent that way are burned in full rather than cycled back into the economy, which NEXUS said keeps circulating supply steady.
A chain with a new name
CROSS became ONEchain earlier this year, and the $CROSS token was renamed $ONE. “Today, CROSS becomes ONE,” the project said at the time. ONEUSD was set as the ecosystem’s settlement unit, and since July 9 UTC the Gametoken DEX has priced and settled every pair in it, routing transaction fees into buybacks of the native token.
Underneath, little changed. ONEchain is an EVM-compatible Layer 1 on Proof-of-Staked-Authority consensus, running the Cancun/Prague stack with BLS. Mainnet 2.0, the “Breakpoint” upgrade, shipped June 1 with a 21-validator set and now holds close to 2 million accounts.
The rename followed the ONE Store deal. NEXUS’s board approved the purchase of 20,247,990 shares, an 89.03% stake, for about 62.6 billion won, or roughly $40.74 million, on June 18. The transaction was executed June 29. SK Square sold 45.78%, Naver 24.06%, Steel Number One First 17.02% and Krafton 2.17%.
ONE Store ships on more than 38 million devices and ranks as Korea’s second-biggest app marketplace by game transaction value. It joined the network as its third validator on July 15, alongside H Lab and CertiK, handling block production, transaction validation and network security.
Filling the shelf
Idle Fantasy arrives amid a steady run of onboardings. NEXUS has already added collectible strategy RPG Throne of Chaos and Myth Legends, a collectible RPG from Soul Dargon Limited that also leans on idle progression. The company signed an MOU with Taiwanese studio Mustaverse to bring TCG Aurayale over.
On the 7th, NEXUS announced nine more titles for ONE, scheduled for sequential release across the year and spanning MMORPGs, SLGs, collectible RPGs and TCGs. Frost Kingdom went first, an exclusively published SLG that launched worldwide July 23 on iOS, Android and PC.
Two MMORPGs anchor the rest. Rappelz M comes from BPMG and carries over the PC original’s character growth and large-scale battles. Astellia M, from LeForge Games, continues the Astellia world with combat built on combinations of more than 60 summons called Astels and deck building across five classes: Knight, Assassin, Archer, Scholar and Mage.
NEXUS founder Henry Chang previously ran WEMADE and is credited as the architect of its Wemix network. The company has said it wants ONE to become a dominant on-chain gaming platform globally, and has floated an “AI-native game platform” that curates AI-generated games in real time.
ONE, for its part, framed the Idle Fantasy launch in plainer terms. “The platform’s roster of real, shipped games just got one longer,” it said.
