Sorare turns on LaLiga EA SPORTS for Sorare 27 with scoring boosts through matchday four

Sorare switched on LaLiga EA SPORTS for Sorare 27 and attached two reward boosts to the opening weeks of the Spanish season.

Pro Mode streaks carry a boost from matchday one to matchday four. Arena is boosted in Game Weeks 3 and 4. “Some of the world’s biggest stars, one of football‘s most competitive leagues: Now live on Sorare 27!” the company said in its announcement.

Sorare didn’t specify the size of either boost.

Its earlier boosted Early Access drop set a template. On Wednesday, July 29, Sorare opened a three-hour window at 4 p.m. CET covering the Scottish, Austrian and Croatian leagues. Cards from that window carried a Pro Mode scoring bonus for their league’s first four matchdays: 10% for Reserve, Roster and Key players, 5% for Star and Icon.

Prize money on the Scottish rollout reached $45,000 in the Rest of the World Arena for Super Rare and Unique cards during the boosted Game Week. Managers fielding a complete In-Season Rare lineup across the opening four matchdays could earn up to $3,000. Both pools were tied to specific matchdays rather than the full season.

What changed in Sorare 27

Sorare 27 went live in July and runs to the end of the European season in May 2027. Play is reorganized into three modes: Arcade as the casual entry point, Pro for Hot Streaks and Arena for player-versus-player leaderboards, Classic SO7 and Rooms.

Hot Streaks dropped Game Week locking. Managers can enter any time up to a player’s kickoff, and each level allows four lineups. But a level once started has to be cleared before that league’s matchday ends, so lives can’t be banked across weekends.

Arena lost its divisions. One leaderboard and one concentrated prize pool replace the tiered structure, and optional goalkeeper and outfield substitutes now step in automatically when a player doesn’t feature. In-Season rewards are doubled during the first two Game Weeks of each Arena competition.

Rare cards can take up to a 2x bonus in Pro Mode. Unique Classic cards move away from Essence toward cash, Market Credits and Super Rare Essence.

Sorare said a partnership it had expected didn’t land and that it put the budget back into the season instead. That money went to deeper Rare Arena rewards, spreading cash and Essence to more managers, plus a reward bonus for Classic Rare cards in Pro.

Liga Portugal arrived this season through a direct deal with the league, with Porto, Benfica and Sporting among the confirmed clubs. Ligue 1 now covers all 18 teams.

The Spanish season

LaLiga released its 2026-27 fixtures on June 30. The calendar covers 380 Primera División matches between Aug. 15 and May 30, assembled by the federation, LaLiga and Liga F against more than 400 scheduling constraints.

The first Clásico falls Oct. 25 at Camp Nou. The return is May 9 at the Bernabéu. Atlético Madrid host Real Madrid on Sept. 20, with the reverse fixture April 4.

Racing, Deportivo and Málaga come up from the second tier. They open against Villarreal, Elche and Atlético respectively. Villarreal, Málaga and Real Sociedad start away by request, citing stadium works, local events or security.

The league has carried EA’s branding since 2023/24, when EA SPORTS FC took title naming rights across LaLiga’s first and second divisions along with a rebrand of its logos, graphics and fonts.

Four of the season’s opening fixtures won’t be played on the opening weekend at all. Barcelona against Athletic, Real Madrid against Real Sociedad, Atlético against Málaga and Valencia against Betis all move to midweek on Aug. 25, 26 or 27, because those clubs had players in the World Cup semifinals or final.
