In Brief:
- Bezi will demo an AI agent that acts inside the Unity Editor at Gamescom in Cologne on Aug. 26, promoted by the Blockchain Game Alliance.
- The agent indexes an entire Unity project and executes work in-editor, building scenes, editing prefabs, writing scripts and debugging issues.
- The slot lands on day one of the show, alongside a ONEchain demo of an agent-driven gaming economy and a locked session at The Agent AI Summit.
Bezi will demo an AI agent that operates inside the Unity Editor at Gamescom in Cologne on Aug. 26, the Blockchain Game Alliance said.
The pitch is a jab at general-purpose coding assistants. “Most AI coding tools stop at the script file,” the BGA wrote. “Game development doesn’t.”

Game development doesn’t.
At #Gamescom, Bezi will demo an AI agent that understands an entire Unity project—and acts inside the Editor to build scenes, edit prefabs, write scripts and debug issues.

The agent “understands an entire Unity project” and acts in the Editor to “build scenes, edit prefabs, write scripts and debug issues,” according to the alliance.
What the agent does in-editor
Bezi indexes a Unity project in real time, covering scripts, assets, scenes and packages, plus outside context like local folders, design documents and spreadsheets.
Its Agent Mode implements changes directly rather than handing back suggestions. Ask Mode is the manual alternative. Agent Mode creates, updates and organizes scenes, GameObjects, prefabs and assets, chaining multiple steps to finish a task.
The company expanded that surface with a feature it calls Actions. Bezi can open scenes and prefabs, inspect their structure, read component configurations and trace asset references, then create GameObjects, edit prefabs, configure components, generate materials and automate content pipelines.
Guardrails sit at three layers. Generated code is type-checked at compile time before execution, Unity validates that referenced asset and GameObject paths exist, and the system backs up files before it modifies them. One click restores the project to its prior state, including files that aren’t under version control.
No MCP
Bezi doesn’t use MCP to reach the Unity Editor. The company argues the protocol returns unreliable results at scale and demands ongoing maintenance from users, and built its integration around generating TypeScript instead, on the reasoning that TypeScript is well represented in AI training data.
That choice puts Bezi against Unity’s own tooling. Unity AI moved into open beta in May 2026 with Unity 6.2, shipping a built-in agent tuned for Unity workflows plus AI Gateway and MCP Server connections.
Bezi has answered publicly. Beyond scene awareness and agentic capability, the company said, it works across multiple projects at once, shares knowledge between teammates and runs a proprietary actions system for accuracy.
The BGA’s Gamescom lineup
The Bezi demo is one of several the alliance is promoting for the same day.
ONEchain will demo an AI-native gaming economy in which autonomous agents compete, create, trade and earn on-chain. ONEchain is the rebranded CROSS (official site) mainnet, run by Korean studio NEXUS, which in June paid roughly 62.6 billion won for an 89.03% stake in app store ONEstore.
The BGA has also teased a locked demo for The Agent AI Summit, with a member bringing architecture for dynamic storylines and emergent gameplay to the stage. A Cologne event guide lists the summit, subtitled Architecting Autonomous Worlds, for Wednesday, Aug. 26, from 11:00 to 16:00.
The sessions follow the alliance’s April report on agentic AI in gaming and a council it assembled with Deloitte and DMCC to write rules for agents that hold wallets.
Gamescom runs Aug. 26 through Aug. 30 at Koelnmesse and opens with a trade and media day. General attendees can’t enter before 1 p.m. on the first day without a premium Wildcard ticket. The co-located gamescom dev conference wraps Aug. 25.
Background
Bezi is a San Francisco company founded in 2021. It started as a web-based collaborative 3D design and prototyping platform for spatial computing, AR and VR, with Unity integration and native prototyping support for Apple Vision Pro, before turning to game development tooling.
Funding trackers put its total at about $13 million, including a Series A led by Benchmark. Crunchbase also lists Dropbox co-founder Arash Ferdowsi in connection with the company. Bezi runs with fewer than 25 employees and holds SOC 2 Type 2 certification. It says customer data is never used to train models.
Pricing is credit-based and sits on top of whatever engine license and model subscription a developer already pays for.
Bezi has no blockchain or web3 functionality in its product materials. Its appearance is a BGA member slot, not a crypto integration.
The company’s own documentation carries a warning about the workflow. Let suggestions pile up undecided and you risk keeping or erasing all of them at once. And once a suggestion is kept or undone, there’s no putting it back.
