In Brief:
- AFK Heroes turned on guilds, giving members up to 25% more $AFKHERO, 100% more XP and 100% more Gold.
- Guilds were one of the systems promised for Season 2, which went live Friday, July 24 alongside crafting, tournaments, PvP, server-wide zone bosses and a Powerball feature.
- The boost arrives with $AFKHERO trading near its all-time low, a market cap around $45,000 and the 10 largest wallets holding 85.91% of supply.
Guilds are live in AFK Heroes, and joining one raises what every member takes out of the game.
The team put the ceilings at up to 25% more $AFKHERO, 100% more XP and 100% more Gold. “Build a team. Level it up together. Every member earns more $AFKHERO, XP and Gold,” the team said in a post on X.

Those are caps, not flat rates. The team published the maximums without a public tier table breaking down what a guild has to do to reach them.
Part of the Season 2 slate
Guilds were one of the systems the studio attached to Season 2, which opened Friday, July 24 after an early-access waitlist. Crafting, tournaments, PvP, server-wide zone bosses and a Powerball feature came in the same release.
Early access ran through a Founder Pack capped at 500 units. It was the only way to get the Japanese Ronin skin.
Season 1 progress wasn’t wiped. Players who kept grinding it could carry permanent buffs into Season 2, though the team said everyone would start the season on equal ground.
Power Level already reweighted payouts
The guild bonus lands weeks after the team changed how the shared reward pool splits. As of Aug. 1, hero Power Level factors into distributions, so stronger accounts pull a larger share.
“Power Level has been added as an additional factor in reward pool distributions,” the team said. “All existing earning mechanics remain active, but now, stronger Heroes can receive a bigger share of the pool.”
Before that, an economy overhaul lifted daily emissions from 5% to 20% and introduced an Earning Boost worth as much as 80%.
Much of what circulates about how to max that boost is player-sourced, not official. Community guides claim each linked social account is worth 10%, that holding 50,000 AFKHERO counts toward the tally, and that anyone under an 80% boost stops earning offline. One widely shared guide puts the in-game spend needed to clear the threshold at roughly $6. The project hasn’t confirmed any of it.
Gold is worth more than it was
Gold matters more now that guilds double it. The team reported 1,000 Gold moving from 0.20 $AFKHERO at the end of Season 1 to 0.6631 $AFKHERO, a 232% increase.
XP feeds the same loop from the other side. Higher-level heroes reach later zones, and since August they also draw more from the reward pool.
The token
$AFKHERO came out of pump.fun and graduated. About 944.82 million tokens circulate against a 1 billion total supply, held across roughly 4,459 wallets.
The token traded near $0.000047 on Aug. 16 for a market cap around $45,000, down from about $61,850 in early August. Its all-time high is $0.0005347 and its all-time low is $0.00004027.
Concentration has gotten worse, not better. The top 10 holders controlled 72.11% of supply in early August and 85.91% by the middle of the month.
Background
AFK Heroes launched on Solana in June. It’s a voxel idle RPG that runs in the browser with no download, and heroes keep fighting, looting and earning with the tab closed.
Players connect Phantom or Solflare and send a hero to the map. Zones start at Frozen Spire at level 40, run through Molten Foundry and end at Singularity Vault for level 90 and up, each with its own boss.
Liquidity behind all of it sits at about $9,400, on the AFKHERO/WSOL pair.
