In Brief:
- Kaidro (official site) will end its current P2A experience and pause the Synergy and Spin Wheel phases on September 4, 2026.
- New $KDR staking and auto-restaking will cease, while existing stakes can still be claimed until December 31, 2026.
- Kaidro emphasizes that $KDR remains part of future plans, although no new system has been detailed.
Kaidro to end current reward systems
Kaidro is discontinuing several reward systems in a significant shift for its platform. On September 4, 2026, at 10:00 AM PT, the studio will wrap up its current P2A experience, along with the Synergy and Spin Wheel phases, after 25 months of operation.
The final $KDR airdrop from the initial distribution phase is scheduled for the same day at 9:00 AM PT. New staking options and auto-restaking will also be halted. Existing stakers have until December 31, 2026, to unstake and claim their $KDR tokens.
Transition, not termination
While Kaidro asserts that $KDR is still integral to future initiatives, the studio has not disclosed any replacement systems or timelines for future utility. Current stakes will remain active, allowing users to maintain their unstaking options and staking history.
Pending NFT rewards will be converted to $KDR, while physical rewards will continue to be fulfilled incrementally. The final airdrop marks the third and last from the initial distribution phase, with more details on eligibility and claiming to be announced later.
Key dates ahead
The snapshot for the final airdrop occurred on August 30, 2026. Following the wind down of reward systems, any stake that has reached its claimable time will return the original $KDR plus applicable rewards. Early unstaking will only return the originally staked $KDR, forgoing the staking reward.
With changes on the horizon, Kaidro aims to reposition itself while keeping $KDR in its long-term strategy. “We see this as a transition rather than an end,” the studio stated.
