In Brief:
- Moku’s Pupkins Gen 0 no-loss raffle had drawn 11,842 tickets at 15,000 $SCHIFFY each, according to Jeff “Jihoz” Zirlin.
- By Zirlin’s math, that puts 177.63 million $SCHIFFY, or 17.9% of the token’s 989.72 million total supply, into the raffle.
- Only 1,800 Boxes are up for grabs, so the raffle has moved well past the point where Moku said it would switch to a weighted draw that counts Moki and $SCHIFFY holdings.
Moku’s Pupkins Gen 0 raffle had pulled in 11,842 tickets as of a post from Ronin co-founder Jeff “Jihoz” Zirlin. At 15,000 $SCHIFFY per ticket, that’s 177.63 million tokens committed to the mint.
Zirlin set that against a $SCHIFFY total supply of 989.72 million. The result, he wrote, is that 17.9% of the entire supply is locked up in the raffle.
11842 tickets purchased so far!
Let's breakdown the math.
1 ticket is 15000 Schiffy.
15000 times 11842= 177.63 M
Schiffy total supply= 989.72 M
177.63/989.72= .179
This mean 17.9% of the entire $SCHIFFY supply is locked in the
Earlier, Zirlin had pointed Moki holders at the sale. “If you own Mokis make sure you’re paying attention to the Pupkins Gen0 mint with $schiffy,” he said, adding that it would run “Later today via a no-loss raffle.”
How the raffle works
The raffle opened Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. ET (3 p.m. UTC). Moku confirmed the ticket price on X roughly 11 hours before the start.
“You’ll need 15000 $SCHIFFY per 1 Ticket, and you can buy as many tickets as you want,” Moku said. There’s no per-wallet cap. In the studio’s example, “if you deposit 300k Schiffy, you can purchase 20 tickets!”
Nobody loses tokens. “If you win, you get a box with 2 Pupkins – If you lose, you’ll get your Schiffy amount back,” Moku said. Refunds on losing tickets are due within one week.
Why Mokis matter
The mint covers 2,000 Boxes, each holding two Pupkins. The raffle gets 1,800 of them. Moku is keeping the other 200 for partnerships and treasury.
Moku said that if entries topped 1,800 it would pick winners by weighted draw. Odds depend on the number of tickets bought, how many Mokis and how much $SCHIFFY a player holds, and how early they deposited. With 11,842 tickets in, that rule applies.
“The earlier you deposit and more assets you hold, the higher chance you’ll have of getting an NFT,” Moku said.
Moku has also set aside up to 50 Gen 0 Boxes for the best content covering the raffle.
What’s in a Box
Each Pupkin is an NFT that also acts as a wallet for tokenized stock and Schiffy. Its breed decides which stocks it holds. Those assets move with the Pup when it’s traded, and unwrapping the Pup releases them.
Gen 0 Pups carry pure class traits, and both Pups in a Box come from the same class. Owners earn royalties tied to future breeds their Pups contribute to.
Background
Pupkins is Moku’s newest Ronin title. The studio also makes Grand Arena and Nomgar Clash, and the Moki Genesis collection of 8,887 characters sits at the center of its games.
On Oct. 24, three days before the mint, Moku launched Plots, which it called “your own cozy farm within the Pupkins world that connects with other experiences.” Players grow crops, gather resources and craft items for use in Pupkins’ Dungeons and Battles modes, including charms for player-versus-player fights.
Moku has also teased a Pupkins creator kit that it says will let people with no development background build experiences in under an hour. It hasn’t announced a release date.
$SCHIFFY trades on Uniswap, OpenSea, Fomo and Pump.fun. Moku said results and refund updates will come through its official X account, @Moku_HQ.
