In Brief:
- MineX said 6,292 players from more than 100 countries joined its Minecraft server this year.
- Every one of those players now holds a Solana wallet, and for most it was their first, the project said.
- The team said its next target is one million players.
MineX said 6,292 players joined its Minecraft server this year, and every one of them left with a Solana wallet.
The players came from more than 100 countries, the project said in a post on X. “For most, it was their first.”

The team didn’t say how many of those wallets are still active or have held a balance. It also didn’t give a timeline for its next goal.
“We are going for the next million,” MineX said.
Wallets at registration
The wallet count follows from how the server handles sign-ups. MineX creates a Solana wallet automatically when a player registers, according to the project’s website. There are no gas fees and no seed phrases.
So the 6,292 figure is a count of registered players, not a count of people who went looking for a crypto wallet. Players join the way they’d join any other Minecraft server.
Every item on the server is an NFT on Solana, the project said. But players don’t see the chain. MineX says it makes web3 “invisible” inside Minecraft.
Players manage items from inside the game. They can send an item to a friend or destroy it for good without leaving Minecraft.
Trading for USDC
MineX calls itself an MMORPG with an open economy where players can trade items for USDC. A player who lists an item can sell it for in-game currency or for real money.
The project takes a 5% fee on trades. It said it supports card deposits and bank withdrawals.
A public explorer at scan.minex.gg lets anyone search items by name, browse inventories by username, check rarity and stats and see the full ownership history of any item.
MineX also runs a browser demo. It needs no download and no account, but it has fewer features than the full server.
Team and background
The team said its members come from Superteam Japan and Superteam Spain. MineX was selected for Solana Startup Village in Tokyo and Shenzhen, and it won the DreamNet Solana Hackathon 2025, according to the project.
The team said it has more than 10 years of experience building Minecraft servers. Its first project, Earncraft, reached a $95 million market cap, the team said.
MineX markets itself as the first Minecraft MMORPG where players can trade items for real money “without getting banned.” That’s the company’s claim. Mojang’s rules for Minecraft have barred NFTs and real-money earning on servers since 2022, and Mojang hasn’t publicly said anything about MineX.
A separate survival server also called MineX runs at mc.playminex.net. It has no connection to the Solana project, which operates from minex.gg.
The Solana project’s own summary of what it offers is short: “Every one of them now has a @solana wallet.”
