Mutant Cartel’s Hound is now live on Soneium. Superstake built it, and the game’s rewards feed into the network’s Summer Fiesta points campaign.
Soneium announced the launch on X. “The @mutant_cartel universe arrives on Soneium with Hound, built on @superstakefun. Pick your hound, hit the track, and jump into the game,” the network said in the post.

The points math
The 100 points come from two missions. Playing 10 Hound games earns 70 STAR Points. Reaching a 1.5x multiplier once adds 30 more.
That’s the same split every earlier Fiesta mission used. The Hound campaign was scheduled to run through Sept. 21.
Hound is also on the Summer Fiesta slate that Startale laid out on its 23rd community call. That slate runs into September and pairs Hound Racing with LasMeta (official site) and Squadletics. Across all three, players can collect hundreds of STAR Points, and the campaign offers extra prizes that include a PS5.
Superstake broadcasts and NFT giveaways are running across the Startale ecosystem all month.
One rail, rotating characters
Hound runs on the same Superstake setup as the games before it: Lazy Penalty, the Cool Cats claw machine and Space Runner. The featured characters on Soneium change every week.
The work is split. Superstake runs the staking, payouts, cross-chain deposit routing and fairness proofs. Startale runs distribution and the points ledger. So a rights holder brings art and a mission list, and that’s why a new IP can go live within days.
The gameplay is a cash-out loop. Players can cash out at any point to lock in winnings or keep going for a bigger multiplier.
Fairness checks
Superstake said its Soneium rounds use a commit-reveal scheme. It publishes a hashed server seed before each round and reveals the seed afterward.
With the seed and the hash, anyone can recheck the outcome of any round.
Before the Fiesta
Startale ran a Mini Apps Carnival before the Summer Fiesta. It grouped 17 Soneium mini-apps, and users earned STAR Points plus project-specific rewards for completing tasks.
The Mutant Cartel background
Novel Labs created the Mutant Cartel Universe and the Mutant Hounds collections. It’s an independent community and story universe, built to extend Yuga Labs’ MAYC ecosystem.
The Mutant Hounds were the first characters to appear in it. The project later added Fusion. Holders burn their Mutant Hounds NFTs for Fusing Materials, then combine those materials with a MAYC NFT, a BAYC NFT or a Mutant Cartel Oath to make a Fused Hound.
