One day before GTA 6 arrives, Vice City gets a home game.
Rockstar Games has announced a collaboration with the Miami Heat. On November 18, the Heat host the Milwaukee Bucks at the Kaseya Center, and for one night the team won’t be playing as Miami. It’ll be playing as Vice City.
This is an official Rockstar announcement. Rockstar said the arena will be completely transformed for an event called “A Night in Vice City.” Heat players will also wear a brand-new uniform designed exclusively around the game.
The timing is deliberate. GTA 6 is set to release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, so the game in Miami lands the night before. It’s a smart bit of scheduling. If you were going to spend launch night on your couch anyway, the Heat would like a piece of your evening first.
Here’s what the merch costs
Rockstar also announced its first official merchandise tied to the event. It’s called the Vice City Collection, and it’s inspired by GTA 6. The apparel and collectibles are live on the Miami Heat website now, and you can pre-order them.
The Court Culture Vice City T-shirts cost €49.95. Other tees start at €40.95. Official hoodies go for €90, and hats start at €45.
None of that is cheap for a shirt. Still, it’s the first official GTA 6 merch, which will matter to a certain kind of collector (you know who you are).
Take a look for yourself
The pieces lean hard on the pastel neon look Vice City has always been known for. Here’s the full set of images.
The team announced the collection on social media with a palm tree, a basketball and a link to the store.
Then it’s the Heat against the Bucks in Vice City uniforms, and a few hours later Rockstar's new game hits shelves.
