In Brief:
- Nakamoto Games (official site) announced Zombie Raze, a zombie survival shooter that runs in the browser with no download.

- The announcement didn’t include a release date or reward details.
Nakamoto Games NAKA $0.1317 ▲ +56% revealed Zombie Raze, a zombie survival shooter that runs in the browser, and pitched it as the follow-up to Dawn of the Damned.
“Introducing ZOMBIE RAZE, a zombie survival shooter that runs right in your browser. No download, no long tutorial. Just click and fight,” the studio said in a post on X.
Real NAKAFAM would know what a huge hit Dawn of the Damned has been. We can't thank you enough but we'll try with the next outbreak!
Introducing ZOMBIE RAZE, a zombie survival shooter that runs right in your browser. No download, no long tutorial. Just click and fight.
That’s a different format from Dawn of the Damned. Nakamoto Games released that game as a desktop title.
The post opened with a nod to the earlier shooter. “Real NAKAFAM would know what a huge hit Dawn of the Damned has been. We can’t thank you enough but we’ll try with the next outbreak!” the studio said.
It didn’t give player numbers for Dawn of the Damned or say when Zombie Raze will go live.
What’s known so far
The studio hasn’t said how NAKA fits into Zombie Raze. The announcement also left out reward structures and game modes.
A Zombie Raze listing already appears in the play-to-earn section of the Nakamoto Games platform. It shows ticket entry tiers of $1 and $5 but doesn’t describe how the game plays.
The play-to-earn section sits next to the platform’s free-to-play, free-to-earn, story mode and tournament sections.
Dawn of the Damned’s run
Nakamoto Games first announced Dawn of the Damned around March 2024, alongside GalacticGrail and DUO.
Dawn of the Damned 2.0 went live Dec. 20, 2024. The studio called it “a desktop #AAA action shooter game that sets a new benchmark for gaming on $NAKA.” For the launch, it ran a $1,000 prize pool split among 10 participants.
Updates kept coming into 2025. In April, a prototype of a new map went live with a reworked revive system. Revive timers now vary by class. Players can revive themselves under certain conditions, and teammates can revive each other.
In June 2025, the studio said matchmaking would arrive at the end of that month.
Background
The Dawn of the Damned 2.0 release landed in a busy December 2024 for Nakamoto Games. That month the studio also rolled out the NAKA mobile app on iOS and Android, along with Monsterville, a tap-to-earn game on TON.
Around then, the studio said its catalog had grown to more than 250 games in 2024 across browser, desktop, Telegram and mobile. It started with just a few games in 2021.
Zombie Raze isn’t the studio’s first zombie title outside Dawn of the Damned. Zombie Crash came to the NAKA mobile app earlier, and Nakamoto Games billed it as “another hyper-casual thrill ride on the $NAKA Mobile App.”
