Ragnarok Landverse America opens seasonal tournament server, runs through Nov. 4

Ragnarok Online Landverse America has opened its Seasonal Tournament Server. The event started Oct. 5 at 07:00 GMT-3 and ends Nov. 4 at 07:00 GMT-3, before scheduled maintenance.

The team posted a warning on X when the server went live. “Please make sure that your game client has been fully updated to the latest version before selecting the Server,” the Ragnarok Online Landverse: America account said.

Separate accounts required

The tournament doesn’t run on players’ existing characters. Participants have to create a new account for the Landverse Tournament America on the registration page and link it to their main account on the Muka server. Rewards go to that linked account.

Players can pick from 17 classes: Lord Knight, Paladin, Sniper, Clown, Gypsy, High Priest, Champion, High Wizard, Professor, Assassin Cross, Stalker, Whitesmith, Creator, Gunslinger, Star Gladiator, Soul Linker and Ninja.

Six skills are disabled: Back Slide, Ice Wall, Warp Portal, Arrow Crafting, Battle Chant and Hermode’s Rod.

How matches work

Matches last 10 minutes at most. A team wins on the spot by destroying the opposing Yggdrasil Core. But the Core can’t be hit right away. The opposing Root has to come down first to open up attacks on the Core.

If neither Core falls, the team with the highest total score wins. Points come from eliminations, Root destruction, collecting Ancient Runes and defeating Zyrron.

Every match pays out Landverse Emblems. The winning team gets two and the losing team gets one. Players turn emblems in to the Landverse Meow NPC, and each one counts as one contribution point.

Ranking rewards

The 10 players with the most contribution points get ranked rewards. Ties go to whoever turned in their emblems first.

Players finishing first through third each get a Rare-Epic Emblem Bag, 50 Nova Keys, three SSR Treasure Expansion Boxes (Selection), a Character Slot Expansion Coupon and 500 Adamantine Blessing.

Fourth through 10th place get a Rare Emblem Bag, 20 Nova Keys, three SSR Treasure Expansion Boxes (Random), a Character Slot Expansion Coupon and 250 Adamantine Blessing.

The announcement didn’t say when ranked rewards will be distributed.

Contribution milestones

Players outside the top 10 can still claim fixed rewards at five contribution tiers.

Five emblems unlock event potions, scrolls and 10 Adamantine Blessing. At 10 emblems, players get Medium and Mysterious Life Potions, HE manuals and 20 Adamantine Blessing.

The 25-emblem tier includes one Nova Key, seven-day Fly Wings, a Blessing Ore Mirror and 30 Adamantine Blessing. At 50, the package adds a Pet Scroll, two Nova Keys, a Gym Pass, a Character Surpassing Ticket and 50 Adamantine Blessing.

The top milestone, 100 emblems, pays two Rare Lucky Pet Scrolls (25%), five Nova Keys, a Character Slot Coupon, a Hi-Classes Surpassing Ticket and 100 Adamantine Blessing.

Background

Maxion Tech publishes and operates the Americas server under license from Gravity, which owns the Ragnarok Online IP. The North and Latin American servers launched in December after a closed beta in November.

The Nova Keys handed out in the tournament are tied to the NOVA Key Mechanic the team added at the America launch. Maxion also removed some item and equipment trading restrictions at that time.

The tournament server isn’t the region’s first competitive event. In March, the America server started the Ragnarok Pro Circuit 2026, its first guild competitive season. Under that format, guilds earn circuit points in War of Emperium Minor Events. The top guilds then move on to Major tournaments with Round Robin and Double Elimination stages, which lead to the global Ragnarok Landverse (official site) Championship.

The first War of Emperium in that circuit took place Feb. 8 across five castles in Aldebaran. Carrocinha, Vortex, CarameloZ, Neshastore02 and Neshastore each took one.

The 2025 global championship had a total prize pool of more than 20 million THB. The winning guild’s name was permanently engraved in the game, and a commemorative statue was put up in Prontera.
