Shiba Inu (SHIB) Volume Near Zero, Price Direction Still Unclear

Shiba Inu’s chart right now looks like a room after everyone has gone home. SHIB is trading near $0.00000517, and volume in recent sessions is tiny next to the spikes the token posted in late July, August and September.

That matters more than the price itself. When volume dries up like this, price moves lose strength, and neither buyers nor sellers are in charge.

The $0.00000500 line is doing all the work

In recent days SHIB dipped to approximately $0.00000502 before buyers stepped in. That makes the $0.00000500 area the level to hold.

If it breaks, the chart opens a path toward the September low near $0.00000475. If SHIB climbs back above $0.00000530, that would be the first sign that sellers are tiring.

Three moving averages, all working against it

The late-September peak near $0.00000627 now looks like a high-water mark. SHIB couldn’t hold above the long black moving average near $0.00000563, and it has since slipped under the blue and orange averages too, which sit near $0.00000541 and $0.00000529.

Both of those now act as resistance. And the daily RSI, around 40, doesn’t give bulls much to work with. It points to weak momentum, but the market isn’t oversold, so a bounce isn’t guaranteed.

Coins are leaving exchanges, just not many

The on-chain data sends mixed signals. Exchange reserves sit at approximately 87.1 trillion SHIB, down 0.11% on the day, and netflow is negative at approximately 98.9 billion SHIB.

More coins left exchanges than came in. That’s usually read as a sign holders aren’t rushing to sell.

But look one layer deeper and the story gets thinner. The seven-day average of coins leaving exchanges fell 42%, while the average inflow fell 14%. Fewer tokens are moving in either direction, which lines up with the quiet volume on the chart.

Don’t count on the burn

Network activity is flat. Transactions sit near 4,800 and transfers near 3,700, both up less than 1% on the day. The value of coins held on exchanges is approximately $447.7 million, down 0.69%.

The burned supply metric shows no data, so burns provide no clear support for the price right now.

What would break the stalemate

SHIB is stuck below resistance with thin trading and no push from either side. Ending the uncertainty takes a move on rising volume.

Until that shows up, the direction stays unclear and a retest of $0.00000500 is possible. If you’re tracking this token, that’s the number to keep on your screen.
