Lo and Behold is coming to Loadout this week, the launchpad said in a post on X. Loadout didn’t give a date or say when trading on the game’s token would open.
The post called the game “Hades meets Vampire Survivors in a cozy world.” Loadout said the game has 13,000 Steam wishlists and is “aligned with the Loadout community.”

The team
Soulcraft Games develops and publishes Lo and Behold. According to Loadout, the core team has four people with a decade each across Gears of War, Halo Infinite and Bandai Namco.
On its own website, Soulcraft calls itself an indie studio created by former AAA developers.
The game
Lo and Behold’s Steam page calls it a “cozy tinged roguelike” in which players protect a village of animal folk. Players go out to fight corrupted beasts, shape their own spells with elemental powers and bring resources home to rebuild Behold Village.
The player is Lo, an owl guarding the last safe village in the woods. Runs take place in shifting dungeons, where Lo frees corrupted Guardian souls and takes on Blightfeather, the Vulture King. The Steam page says players can design hundreds of builds through a crafting system and forge living weapons from boss souls.
Between runs, players decorate the village, befriend its residents, go fishing and hang out by the fire.
It’s a single-player game for Windows. Steam lists the release as 2026, with no specific date, and the game hasn’t come out yet. Players can sign up for a playtest on the store page.
The interface supports English, Spanish, Portuguese and French. The developers recommend playing with a controller. Soulcraft’s website also shows PlayStation and Xbox logos.
Soulcraft put out a new trailer about four months ago. It showed new sword attack VFX, new boss sprites, new trees and an improved camera.
How Loadout works
Loadout comes from the creators of Illuvium and runs on Solana. Studios launch tokens there, and the platform says every buy and sell funds the studio in real time.
When traders buy and sell a game’s token, 4% goes to the game’s treasury. There are no presales, private rounds or VC discounts. Studios submit playable demos, design documents, team details, roadmaps and funding plans before they issue tokens through a bonding curve.
The games themselves don’t have to be built around tokens. Players can play them on Steam, consoles and other platforms, and the token handles financing and trading.
Founder Kieran Warwick has called capital formation one of the most practically useful things crypto can do for the gaming industry. The platform token is $LOAD.
Launches had been on hold
Lo and Behold’s announcement comes after a pause in launches on the platform. In a pinned post on Oct. 15, Loadout said it was working through problems first.
“We want launches back up and running as soon as possible. We also need to iron out the issues before we move ahead. We’re designing new anti-snipe, brought on another developer to work on staking, and have started building permissionless launches,” Loadout said.
