If you’ve spent any time in Los Santos, you’ve seen a Pißwasser can. Soon you might be able to drink one. Labels for three GTA beer brands have been approved by the US Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau, which suggests Rockstar may be getting ready to sell GTA 6’s beer in real life.

That’s a federal filing, not an announcement. Rockstar hasn’t said anything about it, and nobody knows yet when or where these beers will go on sale.

Three labels, one very cool dog

Two of the brands will be familiar to longtime players. Patriot Beer and Pißwasser (which most people just write as Pisswasser) have both turned up in earlier GTA games.

The third one is new. It’s called No Mames Vice City, and its label has a little dog in sunglasses wearing a Vice City chain. If any of these ends up as a collector’s item, it’s the dog.

A Florida brewery called Tripping Animals Brewing is making all three. No Mames Vice City is a lager at 6% ABV. Patriot and Pißwasser are both 4.2% ABV, the same as Bud Light, which is about the right joke for a beer called Pißwasser.

Miami looks like the obvious place to drink one

Where you’ll be able to buy them is still unconfirmed. Bars in and around Miami seem like the best guess, since Rockstar has taken over the city with GTA 6 ads.

Locals have spotted in-universe ads for different GTA brands all over the area. A giant Vice City blimp is flying over Florida. The Miami Heat’s arena has been redone ahead of a Vice City-themed NBA game in November, which hasn’t been done before.

Some of the beer could be sold online. Keeping it to special in-person events around Miami would make more sense, though, and it would fit with how the rest of the campaign has worked so far.

The ads are spreading

Rockstar is clearly spending whatever it takes to make sure people know GTA 6 is coming. Ads for the game have also gone up in Paris, New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles.

It’s not clear whether any of those cities will get more than posters and billboards, or whether the blimps, the arena and maybe the beer stay in Miami. GTA 6 is currently set for November 19 on Xbox Series X|S and PS5, so the dog in sunglasses doesn’t have long to reach the shelves.
