A row of pink-and-blue supercars rolling down Ocean Drive, a camera car close behind and a drone hanging overhead. Fans in Miami say that’s what they saw, and they’re convinced Rockstar is filming a live-action trailer for GTA 6.

Rockstar hasn’t said a word about it. Nobody has confirmed what the shoot is for, so everything below is fan sightings and reported footage. Still, the details line up neatly enough that it’s hard to dismiss.

The cars look like they drove out of Leonida

The speculation started with the cars. Fans spotted a collection of exotic sports cars that matched the look of GTA 6’s vehicles and the game’s pink-and-blue color scheme. Some of them carried fictional Vice City or Leonida-themed branding, which made them look like they’d come straight out of Rockstar's open world.

The cars themselves are the main draw. They resemble the game’s made-up car brands, including Grotti and Progen, which is a deep cut for anyone who isn’t a longtime GTA player.

This doesn’t look like a few fans with a car club

The footage was reportedly captured near Miami’s Bayside Marketplace, Ocean Drive and Key Biscayne. It appears to show the convoys moving through a controlled stretch of road, with a camera vehicle following the action and a drone spotted overhead.

Closed roads, a chase car and aerial shots point to a sizable production. Then again, a sizable production is still not a confirmed trailer.

The timing fits the marketing push

The Take-Two CEO talked about GTA 6 needing aggressive marketing earlier last month. Since then, Rockstar has been dropping major announcements almost every week.

The GTA 6 launch trailer came out last week. With Miami already a prominent city for Vice City branding, Rockstar may put out a live-action trailer before the game's official release. Real Miami streets cut with the game’s neon look and those pink-and-blue supercars would slot right into that plan.

For now, it’s still unofficial. Fans are waiting on Rockstar to say whether the convoy on Ocean Drive becomes a full trailer or turns out to be one more elaborate marketing stunt.
