In Brief:

  • Nakamoto Games will launch Zombie Raze, a browser survival defense game, on Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. Thailand time.
  • Players fight zombie waves, switch weapons, collect Scrap and fortify a base. The game is listed in the Nakamoto Games NAKA $0.07097 ▼ -9.4% play-to-earn section with $1 and $5 tickets.

Nakamoto Games will release Zombie Raze on Nov. 12 at 6 p.m. Thailand time, the studio said in a post on X.

The launch post called the title “a fast-paced browser survival defense game” and described the loop in one line: “Crush relentless zombie waves, switch weapons, collect Scrap, and fortify your base before all hell breaks loose!”

A follow-up from the same @NakamotoGames account, posted with four days left on the countdown, repeated the date and time and added two teasers. “A NEW community tournament is coming!” the post said. It also mentioned “a fresh collaboration,” but the text cuts off before naming a partner, and the studio has not said who it is.

Tickets and the NAKA question

Zombie Raze already has a listing in the play-to-earn section of the Nakamoto Games platform. The listing shows ticket prices of $1 and $5, with no reward details next to it.

That’s most of what is public about the money side. The studio hasn’t explained how its NAKA token will tie into the game, and the listing doesn’t show a prize pool. Prize structures for the promised tournament haven’t been posted either.

Entry tickets cost real money. Anyone planning to play for rewards should check the payout terms on the platform when the game goes live.

What the game is

Nakamoto Games first announced Zombie Raze in October as “a zombie survival shooter that runs right in your browser.” The announcement post said: “No download, no long tutorial. Just click and fight.”

It’s a top-down shooter. A standalone site at zombieraze.com carries the tagline “Fight Waves & Build Defenses.” A trailer is already out.

The studio is pitching it as the follow-up to Dawn of the Damned, its earlier zombie title. “Real NAKAFAM would know what a huge hit Dawn of the Damned has been,” the October announcement said. While Zombie Raze was in development, the team put an updated version of Dawn of the Damned back in front of players.

A separate Android game called Zombie Raze, from Varko Dev Studio, has no connection to the Nakamoto release. Its store page was last updated in April 2024.

October build-out

Zombie Raze was one of three games added to the Nakamoto Games ecosystem in October, according to a community recap posted Nov. 7 on KuCoin’s news feed by a user listed as Sir Ismail ™. The other two were Zombie Outpost and NAKA Revival.

The same recap said the mobile app got a 60% speed upgrade and the shop system design was finalized. It said work is continuing on Sugar Rush Defense, ZomZom Defender and a new Samurai game.

The recap also listed three Blockchain Game Awards 2026 nominations for the platform: Best Ecosystem, Best Browser Game and Best Mobile Game.

Nakamoto Games launched in October 2021 with a team based in Bangkok and runs on Polygon. Its catalog is browser games where players compete for crypto rewards.

NAKA was trading at $0.07058 on Oct. 20, down 5.51% at the time, as Zombie Raze was still in the works.
