Despite the agricultural name it is not a farming game: the documented content leans toward racing circuits, mines, collectathon "Holocache" hunts, the Rumbleball sport and explorable towns spread across zones of roughly 8x8 to 9x9 km, including Calido Valley, Solace and Esperanza.
What works is the scope of the client and the direction of its updates. The O.4.0 release added the things that make a world habitable — player housing, careers, crafting, progression and dynamic world events — rather than another token sink, and apartments are offered free to players who own no land, which keeps the door open to people unwilling to buy in.
What does not work is settledness.
