Decimated
What is Decimated?
Decimated is a multiplayer online survival game built on the Solana blockchain, set in a post-apocalyptic world where players scavenge resources, build shelters, and survive against hostile creatures and rival players. The game combines survival mechanics with strategy and role-playing in a persistent, player-driven environment.
How to play Decimated
Players enter the post-apocalyptic landscape to gather resources and construct shelters while managing threats from NPCs and other players. The core gameplay loop alternates between exploration, base-building, and combat encounters. Players can form alliances with others to increase survival odds and tackle larger challenges together, or engage in competitive PvP combat for dominance and resources.
Decimated economy and earning
Decimated features a blockchain-based economy where players own and trade virtual assets directly. In-game currency and items can be traded between players, creating a player-driven marketplace. Players earn rewards through PvE and PvP activities, event participation, and strategic asset accumulation. The Solana blockchain integration enables low-cost, fast transactions for asset trading and reward distribution.
Is Decimated worth playing?
Decimated appeals to players seeking a blend of survival gameplay with blockchain ownership. The combination of cooperative and competitive mechanics, persistent world building, and real asset ownership creates a dynamic experience. Players interested in post-apocalyptic settings, PvP survival games, and blockchain-based gaming economies will find meaningful engagement, though the game demands active participation and strategic resource management.

Our verdict on Decimated
Decimated is a third-person multiplayer survival RPG from Estonian studio Fracture Labs, built in Unreal Engine 5 and set in a dystopian cyberpunk future rather than the generic post-apocalyptic wasteland it is usually summarised as. Every player starts as a citizen, then progresses toward one of three factions — citizens, anarchists, or cyborg enforcers — and that law-versus-outlaw friction, not crafting or base-building, is where the game's identity actually sits. Scripted missions, a large vehicle roster, and looting in a persistent shared world fill out the loop.
What works is that the setting has a point of view, and the enforcement-versus-criminal split gives PvP a reason to exist beyond loot. The DIO currency runs on Solana after migrating from Ethereum, and a 2026 economy rework tied rewards to real in-game spending instead of open-ended token emissions — a more disciplined design than most of its contemporaries.
What does not work is the timeline. The project has been in development since 2018 and is still an open alpha; content updates were paused during a studio restructuring while a Steam release remains pending, and the token's history includes a market-manipulation lawsuit filed by the studio itself.
It suits patient survival-PvP players who accept unfinished builds and thin off-peak populations.
