“The Corporate Glitch,” a game by creator @the_bit_fox, took second place in The Sandbox’s latest game jam, the company said in a post on X on Oct. 16.

The Sandbox didn’t name the jam in the post or give prize amounts for the placement.
Office chaos
The player is a faceless corporate drone welded permanently to an office chair, according to the game’s listing on The Sandbox site. The goal is to survive three fiscal years and get past the boss waiting at the end of every Q4.
It’s playable now on the Studio’s web portal. “Check out the team’s reaction and dive into some office chaos,” The Sandbox said.
The Sandbox homepage shows “The Corporate Glitch” in a section of playable Studio games titled “Halloween Game Jam Winners.” The section also lists “Cat-astrophic Pest Control,” “Stretch A YouTuber,” “YEET!,” “Circuits,” “Meowmentum,” “Almost There” and “STACKED WTF!”
But that label doesn’t match the Halloween jam’s published schedule. The jam ran Oct. 1 to Oct. 16, and winners aren’t due to be announced until Oct. 30.
A busy jam calendar
The Sandbox has run several jams for Studio creators since this summer. The first AI Game Jam was open to Alpha Creators, ran until July 31 and had a $5,000 prize pool.
The Beta Creators Game Jam came next. Its theme was “Overgrown,” its prize pool was $7,500 and submissions closed Sept. 11. Larry Hryb, known as Major Nelson, led the judging panel.
Bit_fox had already placed once in that cycle. “Overgrown Royale,” a party arena game for one player against up to seven bot Sprouts or two friends on one keyboard, won the Beta jam’s “Hardest to Put Down” special award. The Beta jam handed out six special category awards at $400 each.
First place in the Beta jam went to “Omniscient” by @lifemademe. “Farmadillo” by @LeeOccleshaw took second and “TERRA RIFT” by @RicardoDeZoete finished third.
In September, The Sandbox announced the WTF? Jam, which called for mobile-first games built around surprising mechanics, internet culture and memes. Creators got five days to build, with $4,000 in prizes that included a social ads budget for the winning game.
The Halloween Game Jam followed in October with a $6,400 pool. First place pays $2,000 plus $1,000 in ads to promote the game, second pays $1,500 and third pays $1,000. It also offers $300 special prizes for Best Scare, Creepiest Character, Best Progression Loop and Best Opening.
Built in Studio
Every one of these jams runs on The Sandbox Studio, the company’s AI-assisted creation tool. The Sandbox pitches it as a way to go “From idea to live game in hours.”
Access is still limited. Through the beta program, handpicked creators get early access to the tool along with game jams, AI token grants and paid creator opportunities before Studio opens to everyone.
Before the public launch, The Sandbox also ran a Content Creator Bounty with a $5,000 pool paid in SAND. It rewarded creators for posting real mobile gameplay or showing how they build in Studio, and it ran through Sept. 30.
And in Q4, “The Corporate Glitch” gives players a boss to beat.
