In Brief:
- Fabled Chronicles said Act I of its MMORPG is free to play and players don’t need an NFT to start.
- The studio said the full game loop of exploring, fighting, climbing, farming and rebirth “on Robinhood is open to everyone.”
- The news comes while the project runs a presale for its $LORE token, with airdrop shares tied partly to ETH contributions and NFT holdings.
Fabled Chronicles has opened Act I of its MMORPG to players who don’t hold its NFTs.
“You do NOT need an NFT to play the game,” the studio said in a post on X. “Act:I is Free to Play. Explore, fight, climb, farm, rebirth. The full gaming MMORPG loop on Robinhood is open to everyone.”

The post didn’t give a player count, a launch date for later acts or any details on what NFT holders get beyond free players.
No wallet for the core loop
The free-to-play message matches how the project describes the game on its OpenSea collection page. There, it says no wallet is required for the full RPG loop and that players connect one only when they want crypto features.
The same page says one account works across iOS, Android, web and desktop through Steam. Progression, inventory and social state carry between devices, it said.
Those platform claims come from the project’s own pages. No store listing or outside coverage confirming the Steam or mobile releases turned up.
How rebirth ties into the acts
Rebirth is the system behind the “Act” label. According to the project’s description, a rebirth resets a character’s level progression but unlocks new lore acts.
Dialogue changes between acts and quest lines shift. Players keep permanent power earned through rebirth bonuses and rebirth skills.
So Act I is the entry point. The project hasn’t said how many acts it plans or when the next one opens.
The $LORE presale
The announcement lands while Fabled Chronicles is running what it calls a “Presale Raid” for $LORE. The presale site describes the token as a “governance / economy rail for play, shop and progression perks, and future redeem / utility loops in the cross-play RPG.”
Participants connect a wallet, link an X account and complete quests to raise their allocation. Airdrop shares are weighted by presale ETH contributions, which the site calls “damage,” along with eligible NFT holdings and any active campaign multipliers. The top five contributors get extra NFT bonuses, the site said.
Tokens are distributed after an airdrop snapshot and claim window, which the site places around TGE and liquidity launch. It gives no exact dates. It also said claim dates go out on official channels and there’s no need to send funds to “claim.”
The tweet frames the game as running on Robinhood. But the presale page tells users that a Robinhood Wallet will switch to Ethereum Mainnet before they confirm, meaning presale ETH moves on Ethereum mainnet.
The NFTs
The project’s NFTs are relic portraits sold as an official collection on OpenSea, where the floor was listed at 0.0007 ETH. In the lore, each portrait is tied to a name, a class and a roll of fate.
Under the airdrop formula, holding those NFTs raises a wallet’s $LORE weighting. After this week’s post, it isn’t required to play.
Team
Fabled Chronicles describes its developers as a veteran art team with more than a decade of experience in game assets and illustration. It lists five artists covering areas from character art to environments and UI, with development led by the project’s founder, who isn’t named.
The name also belongs to other games. Fables, which trades as $PROLOGUE, is a separate ve(3,3) DEX on Robinhood Chain, and an unrelated indie RPG demo called Fabled Chronicles has been on itch.io for about six years.
