FC 27 drops September 25, and the top edition wants €159.99

The leaks were right. EA confirmed yesterday afternoon that EA Sports FC 27 hits consoles and PC on September 25.

But the date isn’t the number that’ll make you flinch. That would be the price on the fanciest edition, which climbs to €159.99.

Yesterday’s reveal came with the first trailer and open pre-orders, so we already know the full breakdown. On consoles, the standard game runs €79.99. On PC it’s €69.99.

The editions stack up fast

The Ultimate Edition is back, as it is every year, at €99.99 on PC and €109.99 on consoles. That’s the middle tier.

Then there’s the Ultimate Plus Edition, which is where things get steep.

It’ll cost you €149.99 on PC and €159.99 on consoles. Both Ultimate editions unlock the game seven days before launch, so early access isn’t the thing that separates them.

What the €159.99 actually buys

The Ultimate Plus piles on the extras. You get the Seasons 1 to 5 Premium Passes, 10,000 FC Points over 5 months, a FUT 85+ OVR International ICON Player Item (untradeable), a Hall of FUT Player Pick (untradeable) and an additional FUT Player Evo slot.

It doesn’t stop at FC 27. The bundle also throws in content for EA Sports FC 26: a FUT 93+ OVR ICON Player Pick (untradeable), a FUT Player Dribbling stats Evo and a FUT Player Physical stats Evo.

So one edition, two games‘ worth of Ultimate Team goodies. Whether that math works for you probably depends on how many hours you already sink into FUT.

Pre-order and you get a little more

Anyone who pre-orders any edition picks up extra content on top of what their tier already includes. EA hasn’t made you choose the priciest box just to get the pre-order bonus.

Pre-orders are live now across all versions. The clock starts September 25 for everyone else, and a week earlier if you paid up for Ultimate.
