About Play Kindra
What is Kindra?
Kindra, listed as Play Kindra, is a cozy 3D skilling MMO that runs free in the browser and is built on Robinhood Chain. It bills itself as the first playable 3D MMO on that network. You pick a name or connect a wallet and enter a shared valley where seven skills level up together and gathering near other players earns everyone bonus Kinship XP, up to +60 per cent.
Gameplay
There are twelve heroes, each with a passive, such as the Knight taking 12 per cent less monster damage or the Ranger raising critical-hit chance from 15 to 22 per cent. Players gather, craft, cook and farm, fight eleven world bosses and a nightly world raid, and take on the Hollowing endgame dungeon. Other systems include Trade Roads jobs, deep-sea fishing, mounts, player homes and guilds. The site lists about 20 regions and realms and 100 players per world.
Economy
Gold is earned in play and sold to other players on a marketplace. The $KINDRA token on Robinhood Chain is used to trade mounts, outfits and gold wallet-to-wallet, with the project stating that it never holds player tokens. Some outfits can be bought with USDG. Our verdict
Kindra offers unusually wide content for an alpha-stage browser MMO: seven skills, a boss roster, an endgame dungeon, jobs, mounts and guilds are all documented in a public handbook. The cooperative Kinship XP idea gives the social side a real mechanical purpose.
Being alpha on a brand-new chain, it carries the risks of any early project. Try the free version first and treat market spending as optional.
