Pudgy Party is a free-to-play mobile party game built by Mythical Games around the Pudgy Penguins character brand, released worldwide on iOS and Android in August 2025. Matches drop up to twenty players into short elimination rounds — races, obstacle gauntlets and survival stages on deliberately slippery ground — with solo, friends-and-family and tournament options, and a monthly season carrying free and premium reward tracks.

The on-ramp is the strongest part. No wallet is needed to install or play, and the chain layer sits behind a custodial account rather than in front of it. The item economy is unusually legible too: costumes earned through play are non-tradable by default, and only upgraded limited editions become tradable on Mythical's own marketplace. Worth knowing is that those in-game assets live on Mythical's chain infrastructure, not on the Ethereum contract that holds the original 8,888-penguin collection — owning a Pudgy Penguin is not the same thing as owning your loadout here.

Against that, the format is thoroughly familiar, and the game leans on brand affection and seasonal meme cosmetics more than on new mechanics. Its durability rests on how well the season cadence holds attention.
