About RealGo

What is RealGo?

RealGo is a free-to-play augmented-reality mobile game that combines location-based play with Web3 ownership on BNB Chain. Built in Unity and available for iOS and Android, it uses meme characters rather than a licensed franchise, and describes itself as a Meme 3.0 consumer app. Pets, tokens and in-game items are held on-chain, and the app ships with a built-in wallet plus fiat on-ramp so players can start without setting up an external wallet first. It launched on BNB Chain in late November 2025.

How to play RealGo

Play centres on walking real-world locations with GPS enabled. Meme-themed pets such as Doge and Pepe appear on the map, and players throw Capture Orbs to catch them; higher-tier orbs carry better capture rates. Which pets spawn depends on geography and time of day, and the roster currently spans more than 120 collectible pets. Captured pets can be trained and levelled, then assembled into teams for PvE encounters and PvP battles against other players.

RealGo tokenomics and earning

Capturing pets, finishing missions and winning battles award RT Shards, the pre-launch precursor to the project's Real Token (RT). A Mini Harvester mechanic lets idle pets accumulate shards passively, and a Loyalty Points programme tracks longer-term participation. RealGo remains pre-TGE: the RT token has not yet generated, so shard balances represent a future claim rather than a tradable asset today. The studio reported raising more than $3.5 million ahead of a 2026 token generation event.

Is RealGo worth playing?

RealGo suits players who already enjoy getting outdoors for a collect-and-battle loop; the physical movement requirement is central, not optional, so it is a poor fit for stationary play. Entry costs nothing and no NFT purchase is required to begin. The main caveat is timing: with the token not yet live, any earning estimate is speculative, and rewards depend on final tokenomics that have not been published in full.

Our verdict

RealGo is a location-based augmented-reality catcher built in Unity for iOS and Android, running on BNB Chain. Rather than licensing a franchise, it leans on meme characters — Doge, Pepe and more than 120 other collectible pets — and pitches itself as a "Meme 3.0" consumer app. Play means walking real streets with GPS on, throwing Capture Orbs at pets whose spawns shift by geography and time of day, then training what you catch into teams for PvE encounters and PvP battles.

Onboarding is the strongest part of the design: entry costs nothing, no NFT purchase gates the start, and an embedded wallet with a fiat on-ramp means a newcomer never has to configure an external wallet first. The reward layer is where it thins out. Everything earned arrives as RT Shards, a placeholder for a Real Token that has not generated yet; a Mini Harvester accrues them from idle pets and Loyalty Points track long-term participation, but full tokenomics remain unpublished ahead of a 2026 generation event. Shard balances are a claim on terms nobody has seen.

It fits players who would already go outside for a collect-and-battle loop and treat any eventual token as incidental. Anyone expecting to play seated, or to put a number on their earnings today, is in the wrong place.

This is our own editorial assessment. We do not score games — ratings come from players.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do you start playing RealGo?
You install the RealGo app on your phone and head outside, since the game uses augmented reality and your real-world location to place encounters around you. From there you capture meme pets you find nearby, build a team from them, and take that team into battles.
How do players earn rewards in RealGo?
RealGo is built on Web3 and rewards active play with both crypto and NFTs. Earnings come from playing the core loop — capturing pets, upgrading them, and battling with your team — rather than from a purchase requirement up front.
Do I need a crypto wallet to play RealGo?
The pets in RealGo are NFT-based and rewards are paid in crypto and NFTs, so you need a wallet connected to the game to hold and control those assets. Casual exploring and capturing can be tried first, but a wallet is what lets you actually own and trade what you collect.
What do you actually do with the meme pets you collect?
There are more than 120 collectible meme pets to capture, and you upgrade them to make them stronger over time. You then assemble them into teams and battle other players and opponents across both the physical and digital sides of the game.
Is RealGo worth playing?
It suits players who like getting outside and enjoy collecting and team-building, since the location-based AR layer is the main draw and the rewards come on top of that. If you prefer to play entirely from a chair, the walking-based capture loop will likely not appeal to you.
