Content update celebrates anniversary
Wemade has announced a major content update for Legend of YMIR to commemorate the game’s 200-day anniversary, significantly expanding the player experience in the Unreal Engine 5 MMORPG.
The character level cap now rises to 80. This includes new Mastery and Persona progression paths that offer players long-term growth opportunities. New missions such as Lindwurm Cave and Hilder’s Labyrinth Floor 1 provide avenues for players to explore beyond previous ceilings.
Equipment upgrades and Alchemy improvements integrate directly with the Premium Shop, enhancing vertical progression options.
Competitive features expand
The update introduces a 3v3 Colosseum format designed for rapid combat and strategic collaborations. This mode acts as a smaller counterpart to existing large-scale PvP offerings. Clans will also face off in Sindri’s Lost Treasure Island, a new battlefield where they can vie for resources across five islands.
World Raid Audhumla, a large-scale cooperative boss fight, and World Battlefront, which extends multi-user combat beyond individual servers, are key additions for cooperative players.
A new melee-focused class is in development for a future update, along with additional content scheduled for 2026, such as Blood Valkyrie and Mimir’s Spring.
Anniversary celebrations
The game celebrates its anniversary with a Toast of Glory expedition and Tomte’s Golden Feast, both of which refresh existing content. Players logging in during the event can benefit from a 14-day login event, a 200-Day Special Pass, and discounted storage costs.
The winning design from the 1st Global Disir Design Contest, named “Boitatázinha,” has also been added, and an Indonesian language pack will launch on May 16.
Additionally, the 2nd YMIR Cup World Championship is set for June, following the success of the inaugural tournament held with Razer in Singapore. The game launched on Steam in April, further broadening its accessibility.
Player engagement continues
With these updates and events, Wemade aims to keep the player base engaged and further expand the Legend of YMIR community.
