It’s the second gameplay update the Americas team has surfaced publicly this year across its own channels. The previous one went out May 28.
How the Americas server got here
Maxion launched ROLA on Dec. 18, 2025 under an official license from Gravity Co., Ltd. (NasdaqGM: GRVY), covering both Latin America and North America. The studio had originally targeted Dec. 11 and moved the date back a week.
The launch shipped with a Mission Event, a Guild Level Rush and the debut of Monster Hunting Season 1. Early adopters got a limited-time New Player Welcome Adventure Pack.
Before that came a closed beta from Nov. 20 to Nov. 26, 2025, which Maxion used to test early progression, class balance, player economy behavior and server performance. Pre-registration and the pre-sale both ran Nov. 13 through Dec. 10.
The economy layer
ROLA runs its economy on the ION token, with Moonstones as the premium in-game currency. Maxion operates a marketplace for trading in-game assets and a Universal Exchange that houses both a Token Exchange and a Zeny Exchange.
Maxion’s documentation covers episode releases through Episode 7.0, alongside systems including Nova Space and Golden Fortune.
What the sibling server has been getting
Maxion runs a separate Landverse news portal for its other Ragnarok Landverse service, and that server’s patch history gives a rough sense of the content pipeline feeding the franchise.
January’s update, “Awakening of the New World,” added a batch of scrolls: Holy Defender, Sacred Fist, Atomic, Crimson Stalker, Iron Heart, Darkness Fang, Luxury Hunting and Fallen Angels. February brought “Brilliant Celebration,” built around Worthless Wonders content and a Refine Challenge.
Later patches opened Port Malaya, a tropical village players reach by sailing southwest from Alberta, introduced through a story about a lost fishing vessel. That update added Bangungot’s Hospital plus the Buwaya and Bakonawa exterminations, and ran alongside the “Final Bond of Midgard” and “Eclipse of Landverse: Ayotaya” events.
An EP 14.2 Eclage patch followed, adding the Laphine capital, new weapons and Malangdo enchants.
Quality-of-life work has been thinner. One addition put an NPC Resetter into Izlude at coordinates 128, 149.
Each account gets 10 resets total. The first five are free.
