A Tough Business, Skelding’s Contract, Strange Tales of the West and more are all paying 3X RDO$, XP and Gold through the end of August. That’s the centerpiece of the whole event, and it’s the fastest way to fatten your accounts before the month flips.

Collectors eat well this month
Any Collector Set Sales you complete pay 3X RDO$, Role XP and XP. Discovering Collectibles gets you 3X Role XP until the end of the month.
And then there’s the Condor Egg. Collectors who track down the prized find pick up a further bonus of 3X RDO$ and XP. Worth the detour.
The Frontiersman Outfit, piece by piece
Throughout the month you can assemble elements of the Frontiersman Outfit by hitting certain collector ranks and logging in during the event. It’s the kind of drip-feed reward structure that keeps people opening the game on a Tuesday for no particular reason.
Over at the Tailors and the Catalogue, you’ve got the Griffith Chaps, Menasco Hat, Gardenia Hat, Clymene Coat and Cardozo Vest, all available until August 31.
Free Roam pays out too
The Trade Route Free Roam Event is handing out 3X RDO$ and XP for taking part. Nothing complicated about it. Show up, do the thing, get paid triple.
Why this still matters
Monthly events and themes are Rockstar’s main method of keeping the game alive, each one arriving with its own set of rewards and incentives. It’s a familiar rhythm by now, but it works.
There’s no new Red Dead Redemption game coming any time soon. So this is the deal: keep plugging away at fresh content until Rockstar says something about what’s next for the franchise.
