The Original Power Rangers Are Back In A $2,799 Release

Three hundred people are going to own this thing. That’s the entire run of the DX Bonus Version, and at $2,799 it’s the most expensive way anyone has ever bought the five Rangers you grew up with.

Prime 1 Studio is putting the original Mighty Morphin lineup back together in a Premium Masterline statue set, up for pre-order now and expected in winter 2027.

Red, Black, Blue, Yellow and Pink, all at 1/4 scale. Each one stands on its own Power Morpher-themed base, posed in the Roll Call stance from the show. Prime 1 says the sculpting was based on the original suit performers’ body types, and every glossy helmet carries the design cues of its matching Zord.

The Regular Version runs $2,299 direct from Prime 1. The Deluxe versions add interchangeable arms and the Rangers’ signature Power Weapons, and retailer pricing on that separate Deluxe edition can vary. The $2,799 DX Bonus Version is the capped one at 300 units, and it throws in an exclusive interchangeable left hand for Red holding the Blade Blaster.

Every Ranger gets options

Red can hold the Power Sword one-handed or two. Black’s Power Axe displays mid-slash or converts to Cannon Mode. Blue’s Power Lance works separated or combined. Yellow comes with different poses for the Power Daggers, and Pink can wield the Power Bow with an arrow nocked or fully drawn.

Lined up together, the DX set runs roughly 62 centimeters tall (24.4 inches) and 111 centimeters wide (43.7 inches), built mostly from polystone. That’s a dedicated shelf. Possibly a dedicated room, depending on your living situation.

Why it’s this era and not any other

Power Rangers has reinvented itself plenty of times since, and none of those versions got close to what Mighty Morphin did. The show and the eventual movie were baked into the daily routine of basically every kid who had a television.

And the merchandising was operating at a different level entirely. Each Ranger had their own figures and Zord, and the Zords combined with your friends’ Zords to build the Megazord, which is the kind of design decision that turns a toy line into a social obligation.

Power Rangers figures became one of the hottest and hardest-to-find toys of the 1993 Christmas season. When the MMPR film landed in 1995, Bandai’s tie-in line did the same numbers.

Prime 1 currently expects orders to start shipping between December 2027 and March 2028. Which means the original five come back as a high-end collectible more than three decades after they first showed up, priced for the kids who wanted the Megazord in 1993 and now have a mortgage instead.
