The post gave no round size, valuation, lead investor or list of participants. It also didn’t explain how the new studio fits with Foretold Studios, which has developed Tollan Universe so far.
Loot Planets is next
The post said the studio’s next project is Loot Planets, which has its own account at @LootPlanetsRH.
The Loot Planets website uses a pixel-art galaxy theme and carries the tagline “Build your fleet. Conquer planets. Collect loot.” Players click or tap a planet or asteroid to launch rockets and use the arrow keys to move between territories. The site lists the game as “Coming soon.” It gives no launch date and doesn’t say which chain, if any, the game will run on.
Where Tollan Universe stands
Tollan Universe is a free-to-play competitive action roguelike. It runs as bullet-heaven runs where players survive waves of orc hordes, pick up elemental powers and finish against bosses. It’s playable on PC and web and is live on Abstract.
The game’s first season started in June 2025. It moved to Abstract on Dec. 1, 2025.
Players use Crowns, the in-game currency, which can be bought with ETH or earned through quests and social features. Runs also earn Abstract Stamps toward ecosystem rewards. The game uses Proof of Play’s vRNG for verifiable randomness, and Yield Guild Games ran a Tollan Universe quest on its Community Questing platform around the Abstract launch.
In September 2026 the studio added a Loot Pass for earning Abstract Stamps and a gated mode called Champions’ Arena. With those, the share of Crown spending paid back to players rose to 85%, which now goes into the Weekly Pool and Jackpot. The two pools had split 75% before. At launch, players got back 40% of in-game purchases.
Play is now split into Competitive and Casual modes, and both have ETH and Crown prize pools. For Week 17, the studio said payouts topped $13,500 across the prize pool, jackpot and referrals.
There are 99 Genesis Avatar NFTs in total, and holders get free weekly VIP perks.
From Tollan Worlds to Abstract
The franchise started as Tollan Worlds, a 2D action RPG with dungeon crawling. Its Genesis Avatars were sold through GameStop’s NFT marketplace, TokenTrove and Immutable.
Foretold Studios later renamed the project Tollan Universe and turned it into a set of action-adventure games, starting with Tollan Survivors. On Nov. 14, 2024, the Xai Foundation announced a strategic partnership with Foretold Studios. Under that deal the studio moved from Immutable X to Xai with two titles, Tollan Survivors and Tollan Worlds. The game ended up on Abstract a year later.
The game’s Discord server has 8,208 members.
