Having reached out to Lorek I realised he was a polar bear and the shield for the MvB Pride of the Brotherhood – September 2022 – Gold – Multiverse Brotherhood | NFT.io, a patron of Enjin since the early days. A true north, a .com pass in this Web3. Tech will always move on, not caring for the individual, and with capitalism caring for the family, who is at the end of the feed chain? I digress…
Communities need to stick together and Enjin is a great example of that, that’s why many of us have been chatting and connecting for years. A community – the best .com
Utilising Unity and Unreal Engine, Enjin itself has placed itself permanently in the blockchain gaming world and word. If you believe in Blockchain Gaming, then you know Enjin will be here for decades.
Tonight, has been a night of chats. Before we hear from Lorek, let’s see what else is happening!
Interview goes as follows.
Enjin – Games have lasted years and years
Bushb0i:
Building a Dex ? Pair O’Dee’s: There are rumblings of something coming 3rd party from what we got. Enjin doing it would open them to a whole lot of legal and SEC stuff. Easier to just stay in their lane. Pick your battles. Some get picked for ya though.

Meltoid:
Let another entity build it out. Was learning how the internet was nearly hacked not too long ago Crazy the backdoor – If witek is bae – Linus is OG – I got a feeling AI will find multiple backdoor when properly released.
AlexProe | Liqusenj.io:
Yesterday I finished the v1 of the protocol, first core feature is sENJ Pool Swap (the ability to swap staked enj from one pool to another). Once DEX pallet is there, crypto swap soon Good thing I’m not US based then.

Bushb0i:
Wonderful.
Glad you’re with us

Meltoid:
So there’s a guild of old…The ol Enjin MvB – Multiverse Brotherhood
Etay:
Yoo, want a sneak peak? We got something pretty big forging actually – THE MVB FORGE – We have a whole system ready for crafting materials and items.
Do you know misfit galaxy?
Etay: I’m not active on that ecosystem yet. Just know that they have this clone system where they bring avatars to life in game.
Might be a meltoid avatar ;0
Will MvB be creating a broader token for others to claim?
Etay: Well the new system that we built (The Forge) let’s you melt a token from certain games / collections, to produce materials, which are used to produce MvB items/ Enjin Multiverse Items / other game or collection items. In a gamified way.
The Idea is, you play Enjin Powered games, earn items which you can then melt at the forge to create materials, create items, which you can use in Enjin Powered games, to help you earn more items to melt. It’s a loop that benefits everyone. Games and gamers. Currently, we are with 2 games, with more collabs on the way. But basically, we can add all games. Nothing stops us from doing so. It’s open for everyone. As long as you have the ingredients to craft a recipe you can do so. Some items require more ingredients than other.

You don’t just get a token, you need a couple to craft?
Exactly – based on rarity / supply etc)
What’s another cool feature a token can do?
Nowadays you can craft one and engrave your name on it.
In relation to the crafting side – I believe people at first just want to receive a token and play a game, how does that work?
Tbh I haven’t thought about that yet. But you’re right, we should probably have some smoother onboarding.

Do you think it’s good we are being dragged into the digital world where we have no connection with growing our own things to consume? Many people buy not create.
Not sure I understand the question 🙂 You mean like more and more people are working digitally these days, and less actually doing physical jobs like growing food? (and is that good or bad)
Yup – Sovereignty of your own supply chain
Sure, I think there’s nothing wrong about that. Leave the hard work for robots. You know, Elon Musk predicts that in the future you won’t have to work at all, money and resources won’t be an issue in the world, so that you can do whatever you want all day long. If you enjoy growing your own food, go ahead and do that. If you enjoy being in the digital world, sure, be my guest.
Guests can be kicked out of any party, that’s a concern I have about the digital world. Thanks for the quick update Etay!!
And to another MvB OG – Lorek is in da hall for the main interview!

How did you find out about Enjin?
Ioreck MvB©|| Polar bear knight:
Back in the time, I was looking for a crypto project working on the use of blockchain dedicated to gaming. And that’s how I found Enjin, in 2018, and I totally loved the project since day one.
What was the first game you played in Enjin?
As a gamer myself, more than an investor, I tried every Enjin game as soon as they were available… hard to say today which one was first, but I played since first version of each early adopters : Kingdom Karnage, Forgotten Artifacts (Lost Relics today), Forest Knight, Bitcoin Hodler…
What was the first mainstream game you played?
First mainstream game, without any other restriction ? I assume it’s Heroes of Might and Magic 3, the first game I really enjoyed. I played it for hours… but Fallout and Diablo 2 were not far behind…

Why the name Loreck? And a Polar Bear?
My nickname Ioreck, associated to the polar bear, is a tribute to His Dark Materials, Philipp Pullman’s masterpiece. I read it when I was young, and the polar bear has been my totem ever since.
You are a part of a gaming guild MvB, how did that start from your viewpoint?
The Multiverse Brotherhood has been supported Enjin since the ICO, and has always been more than a gaming guild… it is a movement, offering everyone that shares our behaviour to join, and add a stone in the monument of adoption. MvB is the Hammer, the Shield and the Pen of the Multiverse, and everyone can take his part ! As far as I remember, I joined MvB as soon as I discovered Enjin, less than one week after the creation of the guild, in 2018.
What games have the guild played in? Eth and Matrix.
MvB guilds have been created in every Enjin games supporting guilds, and players with MvB tags can be found in the ones not supporting this kind of system. And MvB guilds will be created in the new games to come, you can be sure of that !
What games is the guild playing in now?
Kepithor’s games (Kingdom Karnage, Enjin Excavators and Royal Rampage), The Six Dragons, Lost Relics, The Etherscape, Misfit Galaxy, Into the Multiverse (which is developped by our most famous member : CZB MvB)

CZB is a champ! How many guild members do you have?
Hard to say precisely, as we totally agree that people wear our tag if they share our values… and also because games are not developping a lot guild mechanisms right now. We will gather as soon as we can really start playing together.
How do you become a guild member?
That’s very simple! Just reach our channel on Telegram (MvB Guild Hall) and ask to join.
What’s the best part of being a part of an online guild / family?
Being a member of MvB means that you are sharing the values of the guild, and that’s a very important point for us. It means you’ll find gentle, helpful people around you, willing to help your development in the Multiverse. It also means you can access more easily to our MvB items, which were the first unofficial multiverse items, and that are still supported in many Enjin games.
What advice can you give the community?
Spread the word ! Don’t be afraid about the actual period, and pricing considerations. The future will be brilliant, trust… and play !
Can’t argue with that! Bless and take care…melt out 🙂
