What is Anome?

Anome is a fully on-chain card game built on the SEI Network where players engage in strategic 3×3 NFT card battles. Unlike traditional card games, Anome integrates blockchain economics directly into its core loop: owning NFT cards is required to play, and every match—whether won or lost—generates rewards in the native $ANOME token. The game went live in June 2025 and is immediately playable through the browser at anome.xyz.

How to play Anome

Anome features 9-slot PvP duels that last approximately 5 minutes each. Players build a deck of NFT cards with distinct attributes and engage in head-to-head competitive battles. The game's dual-earning mechanic rewards both outcomes: winners claim their opponent's cards plus platform tokens, while losers receive substantial "loss mining" rewards to offset the risk of competition. This design encourages consistent play regardless of win rate.

Anome's NFT and token system

Each card is an NFT with intrinsic economic value. The game implements a "USDA refund system" that lets players sell cards back for liquidity, and a non-liquidating borrow mechanism allowing players to collateralize up to 95% of a card's value without liquidation risk. Some cards utilize ERC-404 hybrid token standards with deflationary mechanics. $ANOME, the native token, powers transaction fees, staking, and governance, creating a circular economy where play drives token utility.

Anome positions itself as "an economic protocol disguised as play"—targeting Web3 users interested in GameFi and asset-based earning rather than casual gameplay.
