Arbitrum is handing teams building on its network three free months of ZeroDev’s Growth Plan under the promo code ARBZERODEV. The window closes Aug. 22.
Growth normally carries 100,000 credits, up to $250 in gas sponsorship, a community support channel and team support access. Developers claim it by creating a ZeroDev account, subscribing to Growth under Billing and entering card details, then applying the code. The card isn’t charged.

Arbitrum’s developer account framed the package around onboarding, listing embedded wallets, gasless transactions, smart accounts, permissions, automation and recovery.
Not an outside vendor
ZeroDev doesn’t sit outside the Arbitrum stack. Offchain Labs, the company behind Arbitrum, Prysm and Tandem, acquired it on Aug. 13, 2025. Financial terms weren’t disclosed, and the deal brought ZeroDev’s five-person team in fully.
“The ZeroDev team brings a depth of expertise in developer infrastructure that’s rare to find, combining technical excellence with a deep understanding of the needs of web3 builders,” said Steven Goldfeder, CEO and co-founder of Offchain Labs, when the acquisition was announced.
The company positioned the purchase as its move from chain-level infrastructure into a full-stack developer platform, and its entrance into consumer applications.
What the credits buy
ZeroDev runs what it calls meta infrastructure, proxying traffic to underlying bundlers and paymasters and rerouting to a different bundler when one goes down. Its own bundler, UltraRelay, is tuned for sponsored transactions. The same RPC from a project page works as both the bundler and paymaster endpoint.
There’s a catch for anyone taking the promo. Deploying new self-funded paymasters is now gated to Scale and Enterprise customers. Already-deployed paymasters keep working, but new ones require Scale or higher.
Scale carries 1,000,000 credits, a smart routing address, $1,000 in gas sponsorship, priority onboarding and custom integrations. Enterprise pricing is by sales contact. The entry tier is testnet only at 50,000 credits.
On billing, ZeroDev fronts the gas and charges the card at the end of the cycle, though teams can buy gas credits upfront instead. ERC-20 gas payments carry a 5% markup on the exchange rate.
Where it’s already deployed
ZeroDev’s Kernel accounts are ERC-4337 compliant. The platform also supports EIP-7702, which lets an EOA take on smart account features while keeping its address.
Its client list includes Infinex, DeFi.app, DIMO, Crossmint, Yellow and Rodeo. It supplies smart account infrastructure to ApeChain and Conduit. Across EVM-compatible chains it manages more than five million smart accounts.
Peanut Protocol is the case study Arbitrum points to. Swapping seed phrases for FaceID logins cut a seven-step flow down to one-click payments.
ZeroDev was founded in 2022, contributed to ERC-4337 and launched its platform at ETHDenver 2023.
“Our goal as a company has always been to bring more people on-chain, and smart accounts were only our first steps,” said Derek Chiang, CEO and founder of ZeroDev. “Now that we are a part of Offchain Labs, we can tackle UX at all layers of the stack, from UI all the way down to the chain itself.
