Razer built a mobile controller that folds in half. That’s the whole pitch, and it works.
The Prio is a compact gamepad that plugs into your phone over USB-C, plays nice with iOS and Android, and collapses down when you’re done with it. Pocket-friendly in the actual sense, not the marketing sense.
You’d expect corners cut at this size. There aren’t many.
Small body, real buttons
The Prio comes with a tactile 4-way D-pad, face buttons, bumpers and triggers. Console-grade controls, shrunk down. The thumbsticks are capacitive analog and, per Razer, “engineered to reduce drift,” which the company says keeps your inputs accurate “even on a bumpy commute.”
Wired over USB-C means setup is quick and there’s no second battery in your life to keep topped off. One less thing to forget.
It fits the big phones too
Razer designed the Prio around most slim-to-medium phone cases, and it handles phones up to seven inches. That covers the heavyweights: the iPhone 17 Pro Max and the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra both slot in.
So the thing that folds into your jacket pocket still clamps onto the largest phone you can reasonably buy.
What you can actually play on it
Native mobile games, obviously. But the Prio also works with Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, PS Remote Play and Razer’s own PC Remote Play service. Your desktop library, in a controller that folds.
It’s on sale now for $100. Razer says the Prio is the first entry in a new line of ultra-portable mobile gaming controllers, so more are coming.
