In Brief:

  • KOMPETE (official site) pushed a new update on PC, iOS and Android that returns Mahzookoo North to the game as a Blitz Royale map.
  • The patch adds more apparel for female characters and fixes golf wind so it matches its displayed strength and no longer shifts mid-swing.

KOMPETE has shipped a new update across PC, iOS and Android, and the headline change is a familiar map. Mahzookoo North is back, this time as a Blitz Royale map.

Golf wind now behaves as shown

The most concrete fix lands in golf. Wind is now as strong as the game says it is, and it no longer changes during a swing, according to the patch post.

That matters in a mode built around shot control. On the KOMPETE Golf page, the studio said players pull back to load power, keep the path straight for accuracy and set tempo through the rhythm between backswing and downswing. Sand and deep rough cost power, and a Recovery attribute buys some of it back.

The course itself is Sunrise Greens at Solaris Country Club. It’s nine holes, par 35 and 2,996 yards, with 12 sand bunkers, and it sits on Mahzookoo North.

The Driving Range is live now as a persistent lobby for up to 12 players across eight hitting bays. It carries an all-time longest-drive leaderboard and full career stats. Singles, a nine-hole stroke-play mode, comes next, the studio said, followed by 2v2 Scramble.

Apparel and Coin Pusher

The update also brings more apparel wearable by female characters. The post didn’t list specific items.

Coin Pusher got a polish pass, starting with reward reveals. The studio’s post was cut off after that item, and the rest of the Coin Pusher changes weren’t visible in the announcement.

Coin Pusher arrived in April 2026 as a playable mode from the main menu. KOMPETE tracks player stats for it on the backend, and the top coin and teddy bear collectors are slated to receive rewards.

Mahzookoo North’s second run

Mahzookoo North isn’t new to players. A new version of the island debuted in Patch v0.47, which also revamped Hoopers Park.

Its return as a Blitz Royale map follows a run of work on the battle royale mode. Patch v0.89 brought continued Blitz Royale movement improvements, a new Blitz Royale cinematic intro, a new broadcast stinger, new golf commentary, a new golf events system, new victory and defeat screens and a new menu lobby.

The studio also scheduled a Nebula Voltage Series playing Blitz Royale Solos on Sept. 19 at 4 p.m. ET. Prizes included the Nebula Voltage Goblin Assault Rifle, Voolah and $KOMPETE.

Background

KOMPETE’s official site said the Bulldog, Lynx and Coyote are live in the Blitz Royale loot pool. It also said the game is opening its doors to PlayStation 5 players.

The site lists simulation basketball and a crime simulator among its other modes, alongside golf, Coin Pusher and Blitz Royale.

For golfers, the change comes down to one line in the patch post: wind “is as strong as it says and no longer changes mid-swing.”
