What is Voxie Survivor?

Voxie Survivor is a bullet heaven action game from AlwaysGeeky Games, the Montreal studio that makes the Voxies franchise. It's a spinoff of Voxie Tactics, a turn-based tactical RPG with voxel art, and it's set in the same world. Monsters have overrun the land of Voxies, and you're the last line of defence against the horde.

The game is on PC through Steam. A demo ran during Steam Next Fest on June 15, 2026, and the Voxies team announced October 28 as the full release date.

How to play Voxie Survivor

Runs use the familiar survivor-style loop. Big enemy swarms close in, your attacks fire on their own, and your character gets stronger as the run goes on. AlwaysGeeky puts story and objectives on top of that. The official site lists narrative-driven missions, enemy swarms that react to what the player does, and fast combat loops.

Each zone has field missions, and the boss shows up once you've cleared them. During those missions you break up the swarm and rescue stranded survivors. The Card Library has more than 45 weapon combinations, among them Bouncing Blades and Earth Rupture.

Shards and Cores drop in battle. You spend them on permanent stat upgrades and new Voxie characters, which means progress carries from one run to the next.

Is Voxie Survivor worth playing?

It fits players who like survivor-style games and want missions and a story between waves. The Next Fest demo was free on Steam, so people could try it before the full release.

Official materials don't say whether Voxie Survivor uses a blockchain, a token or NFTs. The Voxies brand has a crypto background through Voxie Tactics, but no on-chain features have been confirmed for Survivor. Until the developer says otherwise, treat it as a regular Steam game.
