In Brief:
- AresRPG posted a new introduction to its voxel MMORPG on X, saying the game is fully on-chain on Sui and playable in a browser or through an AI agent.
- The game has tactical turn-based combat, dungeons, crafting and a player-driven economy built around trading between players.
- The team didn’t explain in the post how agent play works, and neither the game’s public code repository nor its website describes the feature.
AresRPG says players can now run its Sui MMORPG through an AI agent as well as in a browser.
“Welcome to AresRPG,” the studio’s X account posted. “A voxel MMORPG with tactical turn-based combat and a player-driven economy.”
Welcome to AresRPG.

The post ran through the core loop in four short lines: “Explore the world. Brave dungeons. Craft your gear. Trade with other players.” Then came the claim the team led with: “Fully on-chain on Sui. Play in your browser or with your AI agent.”
Agent play, few details
The post linked to aresrpg.world and gave no further detail on agent access. It didn’t say which agents are supported, what actions they can take or whether any limits apply.
The project’s GitHub repository doesn’t mention AI agents or an agent integration either. On Wednesday the site showed build v2.7.6 behind a four-step loading screen covering resources, graphics, world and final checks.
What’s on chain
According to the AresRPG GitHub repository, every character, item, fight and trade in the game is a Sui object. The repo describes the browser client as a “renderer of chain truth.”
Players onboard with zkLogin and pay their own transactions. Combat is deterministic, and its logic has a twin written in Move. Items, mobs, spells and worlds are authored in a seed directory and published on-chain.
Gear is minted with its own rolled stats. Characters and equipment stay in the player’s ownership.
The game uses Three.js for its 3D voxel engine. A single repository holds the frontend, engine, SDK, indexer, server, protocol and immutable rules.
The code is source-available, which isn’t the same as open source. The license lets people build locally, read the code, make personal modifications and contribute under a CLA. Redistribution, re-hosting and commercial use are prohibited, and the author keeps commercial rights.
KARES token
AresRPG has a token, KARES. Blast hosts its standalone presale, according to the repository. Staking runs on the game’s /kares page, and an in-game encyclopedia covers allocations, vesting and rewards.
The public materials don’t give a presale price, a raise total or a listing date.
Mainnet and recent builds
A pinned post on the AresRPG X account dated Sept. 10 said the game is officially released on Sui mainnet. The repository has mainnet pins configured, though the team’s GitHub organization page still points to a testnet at testnet.aresrpg.world, and the Move contracts repo lists only a testnet deployed address.
Updates ship often. Version v2.6.21 came out Oct. 22, and the site had moved to the 2.7 branch by late October. The main repo shows 2,648 commits on its edge branch.
With build 2.6.4, the team said the game was available on mobile. It also added a free demo that runs in the browser without an account, plus one-click bridging from EVM chains and Solana to Sui.
The team posted on Oct. 1 that more than 80 players joined that day to try the game through a Nova Gaming Guild event.
From Minecraft to Sui
AresRPG started out as a Minecraft server. That earlier codebase is now archived on GitHub with 78 stars.
The current Sui repository has 10 stars and one fork.
