In Brief:
- The GENSO Marketplace for GensoKishi Online (official site) reopened at 17:00 on Friday, Nov. 6, 2026, the official @genso_meta account said.
- NFT purchases, sales and buy orders now settle in USDT or JPYC, and the legacy MV token won’t be used for transactions on the new marketplace.
- The relaunch brings new LR gear through an upcoming auction, a new SR gacha, minimum listing prices by category and an import fee on NFTs acquired outside the official marketplace.
The GENSO Marketplace is back online, and MV is no longer part of its trading.
“The GENSO Marketplace is back! Bid on new LR gear, try the new SR gacha, and trade NFTs with USDT or JPYC,” the GENSO Meta account (@genso_meta) said in a post on X. The post linked to an official notice on genso.game dated Nov. 6, 2026, which put the reopening at 17:00 that day.

The notice said “the legacy MV token will not be used for transactions on the new marketplace.”
Stablecoins replace MV
Under the new setup, the marketplace supports “USDT and JPYC for NFT purchases, sales, and buy orders,” according to the notice. Players can also buy the in-game currencies M and R with either stablecoin or with a credit card.
JPYC is a yen-pegged stablecoin.
New gear
The notice lists “new LR equipment offered through an upcoming auction” and “new SR equipment available through gacha.” It doesn’t give auction dates, gacha prices or item lists. Those details sit on separate auction and treasure box pages linked from the announcement.
Floors on listings
The operator added minimum listing prices for each category to “discourage excessive price undercutting,” the notice said. Listing fees apply, with minimums also set by category.
The system will hide listings that meet certain conditions, including ones priced far out of line with the market, so that “prospective buyers find listings more likely to lead to successful trades.” The notice doesn’t spell out the thresholds.
Import fees
NFTs bought on the official marketplace generally carry no import fee. NFTs acquired elsewhere are subject to fees “set according to criteria determined by the operator,” the notice said. It doesn’t list the amounts.
Interface changes
Item names can now be shown and searched in Japanese. Buy orders can treat V1 and V2 equipment as separate options, which the operator says makes them easier to set up.
The marketplace also has 3D equipment previews and an expanded trading history.
Background
The reopening follows a disrupted 2026 for the MMORPG. The official site carries a notice titled “Notice Regarding the Termination of GENSO Online Game Service” and a later one titled “Notice Regarding Future Service Operation Policy and Temporary Suspension,” which put the existing service on hold from April 30 while a new service was prepared. Under that plan, listing records as of April 30 were kept and the marketplace was due to come back with the new service.
The genso.game site now carries a 2026 copyright notice for Hanabitei Inc. A current service page tells players to unstake USDT “via the link above (the former operator’s site)” and says MV Wallet login is being discontinued, with players asked to “link another login method.”
The reopening notice included one more line for MV holders: “the legacy MV token will not be used for transactions on the new marketplace.”
