Chainers opens Catch & Feed farming tournament, registration closes Aug. 16

Chainers started The Tournament of Farmers: Catch & Feed on Aug. 13, a five-day competition that turns routine farm output into a ranked score.

Registration runs Aug. 13 to Aug. 16. The event closes Aug. 17.

Chainers put the rules, scoring and rewards in its documentation and linked players there from the announcement post instead of spelling them out on X.

What a personal tournament is

“Personal Tournaments turn your everyday farming into a leaderboard battle,” Chainers said in the announcement. The post billed the format as “Your new way of earning rewards.”

That’s the distinction from the studio’s earlier competitions, which have mostly run outside the farm through referral campaigns, Gleam task tiers and mini-game runs. This one sits on top of the loop players already grind.

How the farm feeds it

Chainers Farm runs on biopoints. Players grow crops and raise animals, then submit harvested goods into reward pools that open six times a day, and each participant’s payout scales with their share of the total pool contribution.

Those pools pay out in $BNB, internal $POL and CFB.

Accounts sit in one of four tiers set by lifetime biopoints contributed to reward pools. After a rebalance, Tier 2 pays 360 $POL daily and Tier 3 pays 702 $POL a day.

The underlying math rewards livestock choice. Bird food takes fewer resources to produce, but eggs return fewer biopoints than cow milk, and Chainers has told players to weigh which animals to feed and which products to collect. Animals and beds can be merged into rarer versions that yield higher quality produce.

Farm Cards hold the seeds, plots, fertilizers and devices that drive all of it. Rarer cards give bigger boosts, and cards can be burned or merged into better assets.

The currency question

CFB is the piece players can’t cash out. Chainers Fidelity Bonds live on the internal balance and can’t move to an external wallet, and the token became the main in-game currency after $FRI was removed. It’s spent in the Chainers Shop on extra boosters and seasonal cards.

CFB started as a commitment to former $CHU holders who bought before the token’s Uniswap delisting in December 2023. When the new $CHU launches, CFB converts at 1.2 CHU per 1 CFB.

$POL earned through farm events can be withdrawn to self-custodial wallets.

Background

Chainers confirmed the $CHU listing in November 2025 and said its universe had passed 600,000 players. The token is planned as the game’s hard currency, covering governance, staking, marketplace transactions and premium content, alongside external currencies including $POL, $BNB and $IMX.

The game runs on Chainers Chain, a Polygon Edge sidechain, and integrated with Immutable. It plays in the browser with no download.

Around the farm, the studio runs a Season Pass of 25 levels over six weeks, with a free track for core rewards and a golden pass that adds premium rewards and infinite levels. Mini-games give every player one free attempt a day, and the first win unlocks a booster. Daily and weekly missions reset on timers, and unclaimed rewards expire.

Chainers ended the tournament announcement with two words: “Raise your pitchfork!”
