DeFi Dungeons, an idle MMORPG powered by the Solana blockchain, has launched its latest gameplay addition, Raids. This feature allows players to engage in intense battles by forming groups of up to three characters to confront powerful bosses. Raid Mechanics Explained
Raids are elaborate multi-boss encounters, with each fight lasting up to eight hours. Players enter these encounters through the Raids Portal in the fictional realm of Nightvale. The game offers detailed guides on boss stats and recommended team setups to strategize effectively. A character’s placement in the team and the selection of class-specific talents influence the party’s overall performance. During combat, characters and bosses follow a strategic turn order based on their combat stats, and characters can execute different types of attacks, such as Glancing Blows or Full Damage Attacks.

Before venturing into a Raid, players can customize their team across four main classes—Warrior, Marksman, Mage, and Priest—each providing distinct combat advantages. The game allows further customization by improving base stats and equipping various tiers of weapons. Additionally, Talents like Battle Tempered and Second Wind provide specific benefits that can enhance a team’s ability to survive and defeat bosses.
Risk and Rewards of Raiding
Participating in Raids offers the possibility of obtaining some of the rarest rewards in Nightvale. However, these rewards come with considerable risks.
