Dates and the draw
Earth Season runs from Oct. 13 to Dec. 18, according to Enjin’s official schedule. The end-of-season draw takes place Dec. 21, 2026.
Essence stays bound to a single wallet. It can’t be traded, sold or transferred, and players can’t combine Essence from multiple addresses.
Entry into the draw is automatic once a player passes set thresholds. It takes at least 25 Essence points to qualify for Multiverse items and at least 600 for the Degen.
The draw is weighted. Players who collect more Essence during the season get better odds. And a single player can win both a Multiverse item and a Degen in the same season.
What’s on offer
Each season carries its own Elemental Blob NFT. Earth Season’s is the Moss Blob, following the Magma Blob for Fire, the Coral Blob for Water and the Cloud Blob for Wind.
Blobs can be upgraded to Epic or Legendary status by collecting enough Essence. Enjin sets aside 50,000 ENJ for Blob rewards each season, or 200,000 ENJ across the year.
The Bedrock Helm is the season’s Multiverse item. Roughly 5% of players will receive a seasonal Multiverse item, with at least 150 awarded and up to 1,000 depending on the final number of participants.
Then there’s the Earthborne Degen. Degens are 1-of-1 seasonal avatars that carry governance rights and a staking pool capacity of 1 million. Only one player per season gets one.
How the quest works
Essence of the Elements launched Feb. 3, 2026. It’s built around four elements: Fire, Water, Wind and Earth.
The campaign is free to play. Players link their gaming wallets through the Multiverse dashboard and earn Essence by completing quests across multiple games, with progress shared between titles.
The first season’s lineup included ENJ Excavators, Etherscape, Into the Multiverse, Lost Relics (official site) and The Six Dragons (official site).
Fire Season ran Feb. 3 to April 17. Water Season followed from April 28 to July 10, and Wind Season closed Oct. 2.
Earlier plans had pointed to a Jan. 16, 2026 start. The quest went live Feb. 3 instead.
Rene Stefancic, chief operating officer of Enjin, said at launch that the campaign “shows what’s possible when players truly own their items.”
Wind Season’s Degen already has an owner. Enjin congratulated a player named Azurak on winning the Stormborne Degen.
