In Brief

  • Onchain Heroes patched Axie: Den of Mysteries so the Werewolf boss always drops loot, paying 100 Treasure on any kill that fails to produce a Blessing.
  • The second DoM: Reborn raffle draw runs Oct. 8 at 4:30 p.m. UTC with five winners, leaving one draw before the event closes Oct. 22.
  • The dungeon logged 1,191 completed runs and 10,001 keys burnt this week against a $7,001 weekly prize pool.

The Werewolf in Axie: Den of Mysteries no longer leaves players empty-handed. Developer Onchain Heroes shipped the change in the dungeon’s Oct. 8 weekly patch, guaranteeing a 100 Treasure drop on any Werewolf kill that fails to produce a Blessing.

“If the Werewolf doesn’t drop a Blessing, he now drops 100 Treasure instead of leaving you empty-handed,” the game’s official X account said in its patch notes thread. “Blessing odds are unchanged, but now his defeat also contributes toward your weekly pool.”

The tweak landed the same day as the second raffle draw of the DoM: Reborn launch event. That draw runs at 4:30 p.m. UTC Oct. 8, half an hour after the game’s weekly reset at 4 p.m. UTC.

Weekly numbers

The account’s weekly stats put the past week at 1,191 completed runs and 10,001 keys burnt. The weekly prize pool hit $7,001, and Blessing payouts added another $2,013 in USDC.

Treasure drives those payouts. Keys spent on a run scale every pickup, and at the Thursday reset the weekly pool settles in USDC, split in proportion to each player’s Treasure haul. And unlike Treasure, Blessings pay on the spot.

How the draw works

Raffle tickets come from beating Kilnbane, the boss waiting on floor 10 of every run. His chest drops one ticket for each key spent, and players enter them on the Raffle Board in the lobby.

Three draws run across the event, on Sept. 24, Oct. 8 and Oct. 22, with five winners apiece. Prizes include $500 worth of Axie Land items, 15 Ronke PFPs and $500 worth of RONKE rewards.

Two weeks left in Reborn

The Reborn event opened Sept. 10 and closes Oct. 22, both at 4 p.m. UTC. More than $6,000 in prizes ride on it, anchored by a $5,000 leaderboard pool split evenly between USDC and AXS for the top 100 Shard collectors. Shards drop from mobs on the first eight floors, scale with keys spent and stack without a cap across all six weeks.

Onchain Heroes rebuilt the dungeon for 2.0, stretching runs to 10 floors ending in the Kilnbane fight and cutting key prices to $1 from $2. Keys are bought with USDC, RON, WETH or AXS, with up to 100 per run.

Each key splits 70% to the weekly prize pool, 18% to the Blessings pool and 5% to the Throne, a progressive bounty that pays its winner 80% of the pool plus the soulbound Stella skin. The remaining 7% funds development.

Den of Mysteries launched April 30 as a collaboration between Onchain Heroes and Axie Infinity on the Ronin network. The 2.0 rebuild requires no Axie NFT, only a Ronin wallet, and a run takes about 10 to 15 minutes on desktop or mobile.

The account closed its thread with a warning for anyone sitting on tickets: “Tickets you don’t enter won’t be in the draw.”
