In Brief:

  • Gable Guardians (official site)’ Halloween event started Oct. 1 and runs through Oct. 31 (UTC), with a pool of 20,000 $SKR and 200,000 $PLAY.
  • Morwen the Lantern Witch is the event NPC, while Pumpkin King and the rarer Silly Halloween spawn on combat maps in Zones 2 through 8.
  • Players need a Web3 account, their own gargoyle at level 10 or higher and a Halloween pact paid in GABLE.

Gable Guardians has opened its Halloween event, putting 20,000 $SKR and 200,000 $PLAY up for grabs across October. The Solana MMORPG brought in a new NPC for the event, Morwen the Lantern Witch, in Runar City and its four elemental cities.

“Our Halloween event has already started,” the team posted on X.

The event runs Oct. 1-31 in UTC. Claims stay open until Nov. 2.

How the pool pays out

Eighty-five percent of the pool goes out through 31 daily budgets. The other 15% is held back as an extra reward on Oct. 31, according to the game’s documentation.

Players can claim the previous day’s token reward each day from 00:10 UTC, once the settlement is verified. A new ritual opens at the same time.

To complete a ritual, a player has to defeat 150 eligible PvE enemies and claim the combat mission. They also need to finish the 60-minute active connection mission and collect at least five candy points and one Black Candle. Then they visit Morwen. Players can choose SKR, PLAY, an altar item or a candy offering to the Fox.

Each wallet gets one completed ritual per UTC day, and that limit covers all of its characters and devices.

Pacts are priced in GABLE

Sales of Morwen’s Samhain Pact opened Sept. 25. There are three tiers, all priced in GABLE at a dollar equivalent.

The Basic pact costs the equivalent of $1 and comes with base drop rates. The $5 Standard tier adds a 10% relative boost to common drops, a 10% EXP bonus and a daily bundle of five HP and five SP pumpkins. Premium costs $10. It gives a 20% relative drop boost, a 25% EXP bonus and 10 HP plus 10 SP pumpkins a day.

The documentation said the higher tiers help with HP/SP pumpkin and candy collection, “not whistles, seeds or rare scales.”

Bosses and candy

Pumpkin King and Silly Halloween appear on a daily schedule throughout October. Players can also summon them with a Samhain Whistle.

Candy powers the ritual system. Soul Candy, Spiced Candy and Black Candle are soulbound, but Blue Candy can be traded. Morwen’s altar sells items with daily stock caps. Ember of Growth, for example, costs eight candy points, has a daily stock of 1,000 and a limit of 31 per wallet.

Other event items include HP Pumpkin, SP Pumpkin and Lantern Seed.

Fox community pact

The Fox runs a separate community pact. Its GABLE target was set once at the start of October at the GABLE equivalent of 3 SOL, and it has a separate candy target too.

“All contributions are final and non-refundable,” the rules said.

Final day bonuses

On Oct. 31, the 15% reserve unlocks. Pact holders also get an extra 50 percentage points of EXP that day, and HP/SP pumpkins have a 10% higher relative drop chance.

There are no new Halloween drops, rituals, pass bonuses or Fox contributions on Nov. 1 and 2. During that window players can still claim October rewards and trade leftover materials for any altar stock that’s left.

Background

Gable Guardians runs on the web and is built for Solana Mobile hardware, including Seeker and PlaySolana’s PSG1. An Android version is also available. Gargoyles, weapons, armor and skills are NFTs. Rewards are paid in PLAY, SKR, GABLE, SOL and gold-backed GOLD.

Earlier in 2026, the game added a Seeker mob that drops $SKR when defeated. The team said on X that the game won the Play Solana Matrix Hackathon and the Bags Hackathon.

Morwen leaves at 00:00 UTC on Nov. 3. At that point, unclaimed rewards and unused event materials expire, and leftover funds stay with the game for future events.
