What is Sleepagotchi?

Sleepagotchi is a mobile "sleep-to-earn" collectible game that turns a player's real sleeping habits into in-game progression. Rather than an active gameplay loop, the app asks players to set a target bedtime and wake-up time, then measures how closely their actual sleep matched those targets. Consistent, sufficient sleep produces larger rewards; erratic nights produce fewer. The pet-raising framing in older listings still applies loosely — players look after a companion character and a growing roster of heroes — but the app in its current form is closer to an idle RPG wrapped around a sleep tracker than to a Tamagotchi clone.

How to play Sleepagotchi

Sleep is logged either automatically, by syncing with Apple Health or Android's Health Connect and most common wearables and tracker apps, or manually, though manual entries are monitored to limit abuse. A morning check-in converts the previous night into rewards, which are spent on a gacha system that unlocks and upgrades heroes, on decorating in-game rooms, and on assembling a squad. Combat is automated: players decide which heroes to field and how to upgrade them rather than controlling fights directly, across a story-style progression mode and a background idle mode that accrues rewards to be claimed roughly once a day. A separate Telegram mini-app, Sleepagotchi LITE, offers a lighter tap-and-upgrade loop that does not require sleep tracking at all.

In-app progress is currently denominated in points rather than a freely traded coin: vSLEEP accrues from sleep consistency and gameplay and serves mainly as the metric behind reward distribution.
