Dookey Dash: Unclogged
Dookey Dash: Unclogged (DDU) is a sequel to the original Dookey Dash game, developed through the collaborative efforts of Yuga Labs and Faraway. This game extends the narrative and gameplay of its predecessor by introducing many new features and gameplay mechanics for all the sewer-dashing apes out there. DDU's main difference from its predecessor is that DDU is not token-gated at all, making it easier for everyone to access the game. As of September 2024, DDU is now available globally across iOS, Android, PC, and Mac, offering a more accessible gaming experience to everyone.

Removing token gating reduces the exclusivity that drove the original's hype
Arbitrum One only — no support for other blockchains
Our verdict on Dookey Dash: Unclogged
Dookey Dash: Unclogged is the follow-up to Yuga Labs' original Dookey Dash, built with Faraway and positioned as a casual endless-runner set in the Bored Ape Yacht Club's sewer universe. It carries an Arbitrum One footprint, so the underlying assets sit on a cheap Ethereum layer-2 rather than mainnet.
The most consequential change is what was removed. The first Dookey Dash was token-gated — you needed the right NFT to play at all, which made it a closed event for holders. Unclogged drops that requirement entirely and ships on iOS, Android, PC and Mac, a global release as of September 2024. That turns a holders-only stunt into something an ordinary mobile player can install and try, and it is the main reason this entry is worth a look at all.
The catch is the ceiling. It is still a casual score-chasing runner wrapped in an existing IP, and the appeal leans heavily on already caring about the apes and their lore. Newcomers get a competent free-to-start arcade game; they do not get a deep one.
Best for BAYC followers and for anyone curious about how an NFT franchise behaves once the wallet gate comes off.
