Immortal Siege
Immortal Siege is a tower-defense game from InfiniGods, in which gods and heroes are deployed to hold a portal against waves of monsters. It mixes the usual placement and upgrade loop with real-time strategy elements and a deck-draw system, so what you can field in a given wave is partly a matter of what you draw. It is free to play, set in the same mythological world as the studio's other games, and its heroes and items are NFTs meant to carry across them.
Free to play, with no purchase needed to start
Heroes and items are NFTs shared across the InfiniGods universe
Wave-based sessions have a natural stopping point โ good for short play
The studio has shipped several games rather than promising them
Tower defense loops become familiar quickly once the strategies are known
The collectable layer matters most if you play the studio's other titles too
Earnings are not the point here โ treat any value as incidental
Our verdict on Immortal Siege
Immortal Siege takes tower defense somewhere slightly unusual. The frame is familiar โ waves of monsters come at a portal, you place defenders and upgrade them โ but what you can deploy in a wave depends on a deck draw, and there are real-time elements over the top. The result is a game where a run is planned rather than memorised, because the tools you get are not the same every time.
It is free to start, which matters in a category where the entry price is often an NFT purchase, and it sits inside InfiniGods' wider world: the same mythology as InfiniMerge and King of Destiny, with heroes and items intended to travel between them. The studio's founders came out of mainstream games rather than crypto, and it shows in how little the blockchain layer is pushed at the player.
The reservations are genre ones. Adding a draw to tower defense introduces luck where some players want pure planning, and any wave-based game becomes familiar once you know the answers. The collectable layer rewards people already invested in the studio's other games more than a newcomer playing one title.
Worth a session if you like tower defense and want variance in it. Less rewarding if you want the deterministic, optimise-the-layout version of the genre.
