What is My Pet Hooligan?
My Pet Hooligan is an action game from AMGI Studios, set in a colourful universe run by quirky, rebellious rabbits called the Hooligans, each with their own personality. The studio's own framing is a blend of humour, action and creativity, built on next-level animation and AI, and the tone is set by what you actually spend your time doing in it: smashing carrots and dodging drone surveillance.
Game modes
The game is organised into named modes rather than a single campaign. Coinpocalypse is the competitive one; Hangout is the social space; and Anarchy and Organized Anarchy sit between the two, the second being what the name suggests, the same chaos with rules attached. The game launched in early access on the Epic Games Store as a free-to-play title in September 2023. Its Steam page still reads Coming soon, with a full release targeted for Q2 2026 and a free demo that went up on 13 October 2025.
The chain and the studio
In March 2025 the project announced that the Karrat Foundation is headlining Studio Chain, an Ethereum layer-2 built with Arbitrum's technology, and that My Pet Hooligan will be hosted there. AMGI Studios continues to publish news, a paper and community material through the game's own site.
Our verdict
My Pet Hooligan is a third-person multiplayer action game from AMGI Studios in which you play as one of the Hooligans, rebellious rabbits fighting the MetaZuckBot and Zuck Corp. It is a shooter-brawler with a skateboard, not a pet sim: you carry weapons, pull tricks to escape, and play in a city that also works as a hangout. It launched in early access on the Epic Games Store as a free-to-play game, and its Steam page lists it as coming soon.
What works is the mode list and the tone. Coinpocalypse has players drop coins when eliminated, with the leader visible to everyone. Anarchy is a free-for-all to 20 kills, Organized Anarchy is a red-versus-blue team deathmatch to 30, and Hangout is an open city where you can battle Zuckbots, practise skate tricks, take jobs or watch community videos, and switch yourself between PvP and untouchable. The seven factions, from the Playboys to the Punk Bunnis, give the cast a personality most crypto shooters lack.
What works less well is the economy story. The on-chain side runs through the Karrat Foundation, which in March 2025 announced a Studio Chain built on Arbitrum technology to host My Pet Hooligan, so the on-chain side has been moving while the game develops.
It suits players who want a goofy, fast multiplayer shooter. Anyone looking for a calm pet game should look elsewhere.
